These agitators are not paid to kill, they are paid to agitate. That’s is not to say some nutcase will not kill.

Sometimes it can be difficult, like walking up to a door and not knowing what is behind it. Precautions have to be taken, and armaments by your side to defend. yourself. A gun is the only way to go against another gun.

? OK, I’ll stay with your analogy. If a government officer has a Rabid German police dog attack him, I would pull the trigger myself and maybe shoot the dog six times. I would have every right to do so as would the officer. Fear of my life would be a good start.
So, fast forward. If a rabid ( and you certainly are rabid, ask a man from Mars, and he will tell you that these humans are rabid..) so, if a rabid protester spits at me, and brandishes a gun in his rage, I would consider that shooting me would be next. So, I would drop him in his tracks.

So there you have it. A simple comparison of a rabbit dog and a rabid protester . The dog has teeth, the protester has a 9 mm with two magazines. Each of them ‘have it coming’.
What would you call it,

Note that the agents are standing in one place, the agitators are moving TOWARDS them.
One cannot be rabid when standing their ground. It takes police dog-like movements toward a target (ICE) to qualify for rabid.

A dog that is guarding it's own yard is not rabid. It's doing it's job.
