Hahaha oh yeah he’s got a political track record like Ted Bundy has a track record for one night stands.
Btw he’s still railing against the lock down and mocking mask wearers. I don’t bet on elections either but I’d take a bet that another four years of trump will will be four more years of civil unrest by the Democratic majority against the minority Republican White House.
74% of Americans now say they always wear a mask when they leave the house. https://api.nationalgeographic.com/distribution/public/amp/history/2020/10/poll-increasing-bipartisan-majority-americans-support-mask-wearing

Trump and his minions' repeated mocking of the practice as presumably "unmanly" or something is just another manifestation of how out of touch this campaign is with present reality.

Hey Whodey, which rock did you crawl out of THIS time?

You don't care repubs have gotten in HUNDREDS of right wing judges at lower levels and now have taken over SCOTUS and Trump has taken over the republican party and Trump now says doctors are pushing covid because they are making MONEY?

BTW, have you EVER heard Trump say ONE WORD honoring the near quarter million dead, now running close to 100,000 new cases PER DAY and back close to 1,000 per day dead.
And now we see those numbers may be way understated.

But does that bother Trump? NO, he has ZERO and I do mean exactly ZERO empathy, since it is well known he is poster boy for narcissistic and sociopathic mental state.

But you knew that and don't care he has not a clue as how to actually govern.

He is a failed entertainer and nothing more.

He will lose because millions of Americans see through his bluster and lies.

Too bad you don't.

I am seriously beginning to wonder if Trump is a Trojan horse for the Russians and a right wing cabal within the US who want to destroy the US economy and democratic governance system we see today.
I think they’ve underestimated the ingrained democratic values and intelligence of the majority of Americans but these people have nothing to lose and everything to gain, especially their Russian puppet masters.

Mental health professionals are standing by to take your call.

You think I'm kidding, don't you.
Just wait until the election is over. I predict public service announcements to show up urging some people (e.g. TDS sufferers) to seek help.

Except that after the election, it'll be "Trump who?"

I'm sorry you have issues with those in the medical, scientific, tech, and academic fields
I don't. It's an opinion piece by someone who believes Trump will win the election. He's not a pollster, so I mentioned a pollster who also believes Trump will win...

"If you don't like him then try Robert Cahaly. He is a pollster from the Trafalgar Group who correct ...[text shortened]... ht", but to encourage one side to get out and vote and to suppress the enthusiasm of the other side.
There's a good article here making strong arguments why Biden will win. https://kendallkaut.substack.com/p/why-joe-biden-is-going-to-win

In it, the author shreds Trafalgar:

"Trafalgar likes to pretend they’re unstoppable because they predicted the 2016 election in a few states. Instead of viewing their success as, “We knew” the reality is that they’re always biased toward Republicans. When the polls were off by favoring Democrats in 2016, Trafalgar looked right. When the polls are off by favoring Republicans, they’re trash.

In 2018, they missed the Georgia governor’s race by 12 points. In Arizona they said McSally would win by 2 points. She lost by 2.3. In Nevada, they said Heller would win. He lost. They gave Cruz a 9 point lead in Texas. He won by 2.6 points. They said the Republican would win the Nevada governor’s race. The Republican lost. There is not a single race I could find in 2016 or 2018 where they predicted a Democrat to win and the Democrat lost. All of their errors in calling races were for Republicans, which makes sense because they’re a Republican based firm, and their pollster went on the National Review podcast that features Rich Lowry and proclaimed that illegals vote."

https://kendallkaut.substack.com/p/why-joe-biden-is-going-to-win

Essentially, if it's a close race Trafalgar says the Republican is going to win.

What? 😮
Bias in polls? 😕

who knew? 😨

Today is Sunday, Nov 1st.
I predict we will know the results by Tuesday evening. Wednesday morning at the latest. Either way, the agents of C.H.A.O.S. will be busy attempting to make our lives chaotic... all the BS talk (all of it) about there being no peaceful transition or continuation of power has been coming from people who will make sure it won't be peaceful. Within a week we will see how this plays out, with mental health professionals scrambling to deal with an unusually high volume of calls.
Four years ago, Hollywood celebrities made an appeal to members of the electoral college, encouraging them to be faithless electors. After seeing that I would like to say nothing surprises me anymore... but Democrats are full of surprises, so...
mental health professionals are standing by.
Seek a safe space, and have your phones fully charged.

it won't be pretty

I doubt we will know the results Tuesday night. They may say there is a winner, but
as time goes along, challenges will erupt. Who knows how they will adjudicated?!

You're right about that if it's a close race. But if electoral votes for Trump goes over 300 (a distinct possibility) then it's game over.
The post election 'protesting' will probably be as bad (if not worse) than when Trump won four years ago, and downtown Portland imo will stop looking like a ghost town... it will look like a war zone.

Strange... I live about 10 miles from downtown Portland, and it occurred to me a few days ago that if I didn't watch/listen/read the news I wouldn't know anything about rioting, looting, burning and physical attacks. No one here talks about it.

The main problem is republicans don't believe in democracy.
They believe in WINNING no matter the cost, if it takes cheating, voter suppression, taking over the post office to stop ballots from being delivered, THAT is the republican way.

PROVE ME WRONG. I am not talking about theoretical here, I am talking about what repubs have BEEN doing for decades, IS doing now and WILL do in the future if they get the chance.

You don't seem to be at all concerned over what democrats have been doing for decades, are doing now and will do in the future if they get the chance.
Look at what they've been doing for the past four years. What do you see?
Maybe, for whatever reason, you can't see it... or don't want to.

The governor of my state wants to KEEP us in lockdown for as long as possible, and at the same time RAISE taxes on businesses ALREADY struggling to stay afloat BECAUSE of the lockdown.
[ hello, is anyone home? ]
Just for fun put on your scientist hat, turn the logic function up to Warp 8 and... ENGAGE!

make it so

I hope you don't hold your breath waiting on the "distinct possibility" that the Donald gets over 300 Electoral College votes this time.

The Framers did not design or envision a system where the wishes of the majority were thwarted by a minority in the long run by undemocratic means.

Yeah, I know, you believe you know what the framers intended. No room for discussion with you, you are free to believe as you wish.
