@AverageJoe1 saidIt's "speculation" from an economist you said you relied on.
Trump is smarter, though. And note that hundreds of lawmakers are on board. And note that this is all speculation.......just like your example of saying Kudlow, a smart economists, worked for Reagan, was wrong.
And Kudlow said he was wrong.
@AverageJoe1 saidIt's hard to see how getting rid of millions of productive workers and imposing massive tariffs will end well economically.
You are betting Trump will screw it up. I cannot Imagine that. We will wait and see. i sure am ot going to spend Forum-ing on detailed speculation answering the writings of people who truly base all of their thoughts on their hatred of Trump.
zzzzzzzzzz city.
Maybe Trump will reverse such reckless policies but he seems too stubborn, ignorant and deluded to do so.
@no1marauder saidWhat he tell us is but a piece of his puzzle. When he tells Canada that trade talks are off, he hangs up the phone with a chuckle, and tells his Oval Office maid that they will buckle within 18 hours. But he doesn't tell us that, he only tells her!
LMAO! Trump rants and raves every single day about what his economic "plan" is.
Yes, a President should tell the People what his plans for the country are unless there is a national security reason for secrecy. What use is the concept of democracy if elected officials refuse to tell us what they intend to do?
I don't get your last para. OF COURSE he is telling us what he intends to do. Starting with Make America Great. Has he not then made America great?
It is also funny that you are thus suggesting that he should have told us all when and how he would blow up the Iran vermin. OR, is that an exception, Marauder?. Uh, yeah, AvJoe, I would not go that far....
EXACTLY.
Geez
@no1marauder saidI am with you, I don't see it either. Have to trust in minds more trained than ours. If you take that tack, then consider that Sonhouse thinks that people who are NOT QUALIFIED to be on Medicaid should be LEFT on Medicaid. So we all think differently. Can you imagine his thinking that??

So I agree with you, above.
But you probably do not agree with Sonhouse.

Try re-reading my post esp. the "national security" part (though the attack on Iran didn't do anything to enhance our "national security" IMO).
@AverageJoe1 saidYour obsequiousness to a con man who is pretty much reduced to infantile rantings and ravings filled with delusional lies (see his demented speech at the Iowa Fairgrounds) is almost amazing.

Changing the rules to deny Medicaid to people already on it doesn't mean they are "not qualified"; it just means right wingers had to try to come up with some damaging scam on the American People to pay a small part of their one trillion dollar gift to the 1%, wasteful excess spending on the already bloated Pentagon budget and hundreds of billions to the economically suicidal mass deportation program. The funny part is that Trump didn't even realize the bill cut Medicaid:
"Trump told the group Wednesday that the GOP should not touch Medicaid, Social Security or Medicare if they want to win reelections.
“But we’re touching Medicaid in this bill,” one of the members told Trump, according to NOTUS, which cited “three sources with direct knowledge of the comments.”

@Cliff-Mashburn saidAverage?
I always wonder who the chuckle-heads are that instantly downvote your posts.
If you make $2000000 per year you pay $300,000 less taxes.
The government still spends that money, but instead of using that millionaires tax dollars to pay for border security, the government borrows the money so your grandkids will have to pay it instead.
$2 trillion is a lot of cheeseburgers.

@no1marauder said“,,,,Unless there is a national security reason for privacy”. So he should tell us everything he is doing if it is not a national security concern. So you will be the one to head up a committee that decides if his telling Canada that the trade deal was off is a national security issue or not. Of course, if he tells you and all of us what he is doing with Canada, does he have to follow up by saying that he expects them to buckle? Because that is what he would expect him to do, and yet you want him to tell us , and Canada for that matter, that he expects them to buckle. You are writing like Sonhouse. It could well be a security issue, youknow. And then, maybe it is not.
I don't know why I bother to respond to your posts, since you are so stupid you can't understand what I write.

Whew. Farther, do you want him to have to go into a committee room for council with several men to advise him about whether it is a Security issue or not? Do you want the president to ask people whether something is a security issue or not. I think that is what you were saying. Which is horse Dookie
@AverageJoe1 saidHilarious. This idiot rambles on and on virtually every day on social media yet you seem to think he always has some unfathomable to mere mortals secret plan.

@no1marauder saidWell, yes. Give me a break Marauder. Are you speaking of Trump, the guy who pulled off everything that he has promised in 5 months? Hardly a trip to the lounge on the beach.

First, we are indeed 'mere' when compared to a person with his knowledge and abilities. And, he always owns the room....globally. So, his demeanor (which you call rambling, suggesting he knows not what he is talking about) is in keeping with his plans and his actions. You libs are not used to a man with a plan. Oh, an executable plan.....not such as your latest guru Commie Mondommie, all of which plans must pass a general assembly. Would you rather he be a dictator?
@AverageJoe1 saidI can't imagine how it feels to be such a groveling bootlicker.

either way, you're a worthless human being and i feel sorry for you and the americans that are not maga cultists who have to share a citizenship with you
@AverageJoe1 saidAn extra $150 billion for defense when we already don't know where that money goes and we are withdrawing from overseas conflicts?
A crowd of them, maybe some our posters here, were prooootttesting yesterday with signs (imagine that) which read....CANCEL STUDENT DEBT!.
This could have easily just as said :TAXPAYERS PAY OUR DEBTS!
Same thing. The exact same thing. Why can non-brave liberals not BE brave and use the phrase that they could just as easily say??.
Explain it. It certainly isn't America first!
@AverageJoe1 saidWhat about the part where the national debt goes up 3 or 4 TRILLION?
There's so much in the Bill.. I'm so tired of Democrats saying this is a tax for millionaires. Every single family in America that pay taxes on average gets about a $2000 reduction in their taxes, and then every small business man and woman,.... as you know small businesses are the backbone of our economy. Major employers will see about a 20% reduction in their taxes. If ...[text shortened]... future elections.
I believe many posters are democrats. Y'all have found your new messenger.
Where else do you think we will get the money that that stupid tax bribe takes away? If we didn't do this ugly bill we would not have that multi trillion dollar increase in the national debt and increased payment on just the interest not even talking about drawing it down.
4 trillion and they are talking about another couple trill next year.
We can't go on financing the US on borrowed money, that is fking INSANE by any measure.
You just believe everything Trump shoves down your throat with ZERO fact checking. Ten% interest, 400 BILLION extra a year, or even FIVE % TWO HUNDRED BILLION a year extra.
Smooth move by those sinister ZOMBIES.
Beautiful bill my ass. What are you going to say when hospitals in rural communities shut down because they lost funding from Medicaid?
Or the MILLIONS who will lose medical insurance.
I bet you don't even LOOK at that part.
