Are you THAT insulated from reality you don't even know there are hospital crises like this all over the south. Alaska is in the same boat, you come in there with a broken leg, bone sticking out, wait in your car, and maybe in 4 hours you MIGHT be seen.

Washington State was doing pretty good until about mid August, then the delta strain began seeping in. With vaccine rates back up, and mask mandates in place, our situation in WA State is slowly improving. Most of our population is on the west side of the state so the situation in Idaho doesn't affect us much.
Speaking of Idaho, I recently contacted a TD in Boise about vaccine and mask requirements for an upcoming OTB tournament; I was told " don't worry about mask or vaccine requirements, we don't have any of that here, come on over an play chess"- - Let the record reflect I didn't go to the tournament!
