Yes, both parties are guilty, but it is not just the presidents but Congress that really controls the budget. Since Trump is more of a hands-on president, thank God, then I guess the buck stops with him, and if the Republicans have caused a larger deficit, it is because of the modern era, and I guess I could say that the next president being democrat will cause even a larger deficit and we could throw all of this stuff back at you. It gets boring. So let’s say the Republicans probably are the most guilty and move along. Life ain’t perfect.

Nah I won't move on. Republicans are not and have not been the party of fiscal responsibility since Reagan. They spend and spend and spend and still think they can cut taxes to please constituents. Democrats come in and try to clean up the mess, only to get criticized for trying, and then Republicans destroy all their efforts anyways in the next voting cycle.

The newest and dumbest plan from Scott Bessent is to "stimulate the economy" with hopes that it'll yield larger tax revenue. But... um.... with what money? You're $2 trillion in deficit already and $40 trillion in debt and you want to spend more money to eat your way out of it? This feels like Republicans have a gambling addiction, but really its just an intense disconnection with reality.

What has and is being done by these countries leaders to fix these issues. Have they been part of the problem or solution and do you really not think that was a low IQ comparison about the Germans.

It might end up costing more to US taxpayers without USAID, given the nascent spread of things like screwworm and Ebola and Hantavirus and Monkeypox. Without USAID doctors in the field, the US is less prepared to prevent these deadly disease from spreading to our own shores.
