@wildgrass saidTrump's campaign seems mostly about raising money to pay his lawyers; his PAC doled out $21.6 million in legal fees in the first six months of 2023. https://www.npr.org/2023/08/05/1192343919/a-large-amount-of-trumps-campaign-money-is-being-diverted-to-his-legal-fees
Nearly everything you type seems like it was brewed up in a Republican think tank spin room, and put directly on teleprompters for talking heads at Fox news.
Law enforcement is not election interference. He gets plenty of time and has plenty of money to make his case to judges and juries.
@no1marauder saidon the flip side...democrats have started using their positions to attack their opponents, interfere in elections.

@no1marauder saidI'd love to hear the logic from someone who actually donates to this 'campaign'. Probably they understand it goes to the legal fund, but that's part of why they support him. Fight the powers that be. The appeal is he fights by speaking lies to power?

His own lawyer has said he's only running for president because the white house keeps him out of prison.
@wildgrass
The Dem party does not care about what it is doing to our country, our system of justice, and our electoral process, Marauder. It is the 'State' party seeking to monopolize our politics, society and culture. Man, I hate the culture part.
This is a revolution. The party comes first. The Dem party long ago abandoned comity and civility for character assassination and the iron fist, a fact that establishment Repubs have difficulty grasping.
It has joined a long list of political parties around the world, past and present tht are totalitarian in nature, like you are. They do not tolerate Democracy (republicanism in America), fair elections and equal justice before the law.
You cannot take exception to what I am saying. The country is hugely changing. EG,The matter of men walking naked into girls' bathrooms....You think that that represents freedom, but your grandaddy would say it is oppression. This is what you are about.
@no1marauder saidone is in the constitution, the other is not.

@averagejoe1 saidAt any point do you wonder whether the info provided to you is coming from the republican party media machine? They spend billions to convince you there is a meaningful difference between the two parties and ensure your loyalty.

A bathroom oppresses you? Not unless you're a mealy mouthed leftist or a zombified Fox news watcher.
@mott-the-hoople saiddumbass, he gave a specific example of you not giving a fuk what the people want. Avg joe keeps having nightmares about the majority of people deciding matters instead of the minority based solely on the decision to live in the middle of bumfuk nowhere. One of the indictments against Trump is exactly trying to go against the will of the people in 2020. The worse gerrymandering comes from your side. You even started to toy with the idea of raising the voting age.

You whining about the will of the people is priceless.
@wildgrass saidSo silly WGras. A bathroom is not what oppresses me. Try again? Losers get silly when they have no place, no comment, to turn to.

My my you pretend to read that I said a bathroom oppresses me. You will confuse people like Susie Ayn by continuing to do that.
@zahlanzi saidHey Mott. Draw down a link where it is clearly shown the majority of Americans not wanting anything to do with their hideous policies. They are boring me with their continuous questions, and I am just not going to fool with it. They know the answer, yet misrepresent it on the forum.

@averagejoe1 saidRepublicans in Ohio just tried to change a 100+ year State Constitutional provision that required a simple majority of voters to pass amendments because they know Ohio voters are likely to pass an amendment in November that would enshrine reproductive rights in that State (their scheme failed).

In Wisconsin they are threatening to impeach judges who are likely to shoot down the ridiculously gerrymandered legislative lines in that swing State. That is after Wisconsin voters a few months ago elected a Supreme Court Judge who pledged to do just that.
These are just recent examples; it has always been the ideological preference of right wingers to reduce democracy as much as possible.
@wildgrass saidAwww, a really cool Lib ploy. You are pretending that I said that bathrooms oppress me. Oh great, now what will SueAyn think about me?
You wrote it, not me. Silly.
@no1marauder saidDoes the law of Ohio allow a vote on having a simple majority to change a law? If so, that is fine with me.....about it being a law, I mean. Personally, I am not keen on a 'majority', myself. I absolutely detest mob rule. 66% is a nice percentage, I would think. (as to reproductibe rights, I will pass from now on on that subject. Abortion is none of my business....unless my govt tries to make me pay for someone's bad choices. None of my business. Tell them to not get pregnant. They want to, you know?

As to Wisconsin judges, I question how you just categorically say that the lines are 'ridiculously' mandated. Someone apparently thinks they are not. Looks like it is just a disagreement to me. You obviously disagree with those of a republican bent?
Why don't you run for King?
