@averagejoe1 saidYou know there's a simple solution to this, yes?
Trump voters start to vote for him on day one, and he is then denied the right to run......the voters scream..."Hey, wait a minute......"
Vote for someone who won't be convicted.
@averagejoe1 saidPresumably the votes will transfer to his running mate who will be just as much the Uber jerk so nothing for the early trump voters to worry about I guess

@kevcvs57
Here is something to think about. With all t hat swirls around Trump, he would have a hard time picking good cabinet members, becasue you fellers would be lurking to hear a cabinet member make a phone call to an important person, simply to ask for a phone number........this could feasibly be a RICO violation, and the innocent guy could end up in prison.
So, since that kind of turmoil could ensue, tying us all up forever, I think I will write in Sonhouse next November. Sorry Donald, your personality is your downfall. It doesn't bother me, but many are offfffeeennnnnnnnnnnnded by it.

@averagejoe1 saidso what's your point. That we should ignore his criminal acts and leave him alone? Because his cult members like him?

@averagejoe1 saidHow could he be "denied the right to run"?

@zahlanzi saidDuh my point is that if I vote for Trump on the first day mail-ins or early voting begins, my vote will mean nothing if he ends up with a 600-yr prison sentence.
so what's your point. That we should ignore his criminal acts and leave him alone? Because his cult members like him?
Can you libs not ONCE just see an innocent simple scenario presented by a fellow poster without being combative???
Say, yeah Joe, that would be interesting, I wonder how they would handle that? A comment above that it would go his VP choice may be one answer. What in the hell would you say to that? Tough one.

@mott-the-hoople saidNearly everything you type seems like it was brewed up in a Republican think tank spin room, and put directly on teleprompters for talking heads at Fox news.
wow, election interference is being normalized
Law enforcement is not election interference. He gets plenty of time and has plenty of money to make his case to judges and juries.

@no1marauder saidIf he is convicted and sentenced to 660 years. I could have phrased it better and said if he is convicted during the election process. Sorry bout that.
How could he be "denied the right to run"?
