I just watched a documentary on the History channel about the alliance between Hitler and and Islamic groups in the Middle East in the late 1930 to early 1940's. Apparently both hated the Jews and both agreed they should be destroyed. The other interest they shared was to destroy the British due to the fact that Britan occupied much of the Middle East durin ...[text shortened]... lers hinchmen. Has anyone else seen this on the History channel or heard about such facts?
"The Arabs began with uprisings in Israel against the UK during WWll ..."

No doubt I'll be accused of anti-semitism for pointing out the impossibility of this statement.

Well, people tend to ally against common enemies. The Finns allied with the Nazis against the Russians, while the Iraqis sided with the Nazis against the English. Nobody has a problem with Vodacom today...

In WW1, the Arabs sided with the English against the Turks in exchange for promises of independence. The English didn't keep their promises. Could that have had something to do with the political situation in WW2?
It is not that easy my friend. After all, Islam does not recognize a difference between affairs of the state and that of religion. In reality, they were making a deal with the devil himself with the blessings of Allah. One of their slogans in the documentary was Allah is our God and Hitler is our hope. It was a chillling sight to see the most powerfull religious leader in all of Islam give Adolph Hitler the old siege hail solute. They even said that there was a secret agreement to continue genocide in the Middle East once the war in Europe had ended.

Please give some cites that support these claims. As shown in other threads, you constantly misstate the facts, often deliberately so.

So would you say that Islamic groups don't hate the Jews or want them destroyed? Because if you would then you are a very naive and deluded individual.
YOU ARE WRONG!
Islam does not hate Jews... the Jews are regarded as people of the books and are our brothers as well.

It is true Muslims do not like the sate of Israel because of what has happened to the Palastians.

Israel is ruled by the Zionists that is not the same as Jews..OK?

That post shows a woeful grasp of history, of the relationship between Islam and Judaism, and of political reality in the Islamic world.

Do you have any evidence for any of these claims, or are you expecting us to take them on trust because you say you saw them on a TV programme?

Regarding the salute, you might want to read the following.

A bigot is a prejudiced person, intolerant of any opinions which differ from his own, the examples you gave do not fit this definition, try some others.

1)The Palestinians of today have legitimate greivances which are mostly unaddressed. 2)Until America begins to press for justice for the Palestinians, there will be no peace in the Middle East -- that's for sure.
1)The Palestinians do NOT have legitimate grievances. Start a new thread if you want to debate this.
2)It was a different story when America was pressing for justice for the Iraqis wasn't it? I feel that your apparent concern for the Palestinians does not stem from real concern, or it would doubtless extend to others (such as the Iraqis), it stems from your irrational hatred of Israel.

There is one hitch in your theory: It was the arab nations in 1948 who attacked the fledgling state of Israel, unprovoked, 24 hours after the UN gave them the territory. So don't keep pounding on the plight of the Palistinians as the reason why the arab nations want to kill Israel.
I fully agree with you, now the Israeli's treat the Palistinians like dogs. I know, I lived in Jerusalem for three years but don't forget who attacked who first.
