I just watched a documentary on the History channel about the alliance between Hitler and and Islamic groups in the Middle East in the late 1930 to early 1940's. Apparently both hated the Jews and both agreed they should be destroyed. The other interest they shared was to destroy the British due to the fact that Britan occupied much of the Middle East durin ...[text shortened]... lers hinchmen. Has anyone else seen this on the History channel or heard about such facts?
It doesn't sound as if the program you saw was very impartial as it seems to force Islamic support for the Holocaust which is a gross overstatement. There's no significance proof for his awareness of this, let alone his support for it. And remember that hardly nobody speaks or acts for the whole of Islam.
And if you're implicitly judging Islam or Middle Eastern countries, note that many European countries also collaborated with Nazism. One cannot simply blame it on their religion or their people, as those were strange times. I'm against blaming countries for their past history, even if historical acts can be judged, especially if they still have a current impact.

I have read books on the subject, none support your view. The reason I asked for a source was because I suspected you were using a biased source, now I suspect you were not using a source at all, but the whole story was another of your fabrications.

It was decided by the UN, which was not nearly as irrelevent and piddling then as it is now. The Jews resettled in part after the Romans left and were kicked out by the Ottomans who then planted the Palestinians there. The Ottomans were subsequently kicked out by the British Empire, which allowed the Jews to resettle through the medium of the UN, seems like fair play to me.
P.S. There is an "Israel and Palestine" thread.
Islam in palestine dates from the 7th century persian occupation. Genetics have shown that these were not Muslim immigrants from Persia, but local Christians and Jews who converted to Islam.
During the late Ottoman period the Jewish population of the area increased from below 2,000 to nearly 60,000.

I'm afraid it doesn't work like that, kid.
bear

According to your logic, I can now claim that Ursus maritimus do not exist, because the partial definition which I cherry picked doesn't include a definition of bears of the animal variety. 🙄

- Your Honour, we will be asking for a life sentence.
- But it's just a parking ticket!
- And we want you to chop his hands off, too. He's got a foreign name.

Judging from your previous posts relating to the Hajj, your definition of "terrorist" is somewhat broader than mine.
btw, the Hajj thing was a light-hearted comment I made about 6 months ago, not a serious opinion, however, in general, I believe that Islam is a threat to the world that aught to be curbed.
