So, even the UK foreign minister is now speaking of genocide.

There's no question that individual settlers sometimes act like terrorists (though less frequently than do the Palestinians).

The former Israeli army generals were calling it "ethnic cleansing" rather than genocide. You made it sounds like its a few bad eggs but the UN documented thousands of attacks, looting schools, burning books, stealing livestock etc. It seems like what you see as hyperbole is other people wondering why the heck this type of terrorism/ethnic cleansing is continuing to happen without any formal consequences?

What is being killed is the ethnic group (geno-) not the individual (homi-). Sending children to ethnic re-education camps like Canada did with indigenous children, China is doing with the Uighurs and Russia is doing with Ukranian children is also genocide. When the Turks forced Armenians to deport it was genocide. In fact that is the event which led to the creation of the word genocide.
