Interesting how the hottest day ever recorded happened on the anniversary of the United States, the single biggest polluter for over 150 years until China took over.

Link below is from the Guardian:

The US has been the biggest cumulative polluter from 1850 all the way to the present day. Russia was the second biggest polluter until 200 ...[text shortened]... emissions were surpassed by China’s, whose emissions started rising rapidly from the 1970s.
Trump: "We're number one! We're number one! Most pollution EVAR!"

Some decisions, like banning slavery, ending segregation and giving women the right to vote, shouldn't wait for "others" to agree with. Going green to protect humanity's future on earth is one of those.
"The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it."

H.L. Mencken

Post after post of yours is an example of what Mencken speaks of. The list; "banning slavery, ending segregation and giving women the right to vote" has nothing to do with EV's and the damage caused by their batteries. How do you get from slavery to the inefficiencies of so called green energy? Not related, nothing to do with each other, analogy fail.

This quote is meaningless if you can't show why or even how you'd be "ruled" by actions to fight climate change.

As usual you have no facts or specifics in your alleged world domination. Just worthless vague empty claims because you will never have an argument with any substance.

Everything the goobermint does can be summed by the word 'force.

The only question is the amount.

Every new regulation, subsidy, bureaucracy, encouragement, discouragement equals more force than what there was.

The only question is the amount.

Give an example of what you'd like goobermint to do, and I'll explain who is being forced and how.

It's not a world wide denial.

It's just the idiot conservatives... the ones who would rather pass a selfish tax cut than save the planet.
Suzi wants government to impose a tax on her and all of us to save us from naturally caused global warming. Of course we are seeing record breaking temperatures. Global warming is real and it is natural for the planet to warm right after coming out of global cooling.

Look up the little ice age. Did you expect volcano caused cooling to last forever?

Wajoma: They're trying to rule us by force!

Who?

Wajoma: I...don't know. But they want to control us!

How?

Wajoma: I...have no fukking idea.

What do you suggest the goobermint do about your scare stories?

When you're able to answer that I'll explain who is being forced by who.

Mencken sounds like an arse to me.

Probably a parranoid incel, spanking away to the sound cheques coming in from idiotic donors.

You've never read Mencken? You're missing out, he knew how to put the knife in, in such a way you'd enjoy it because of the sheer writing high style. God botherers were regularly on the receiving end of Menckens scapel, which was often so subtle you'd be wondering what just happened and why were your guts draining onto the footpath.

The full quote above was about religious nuts, of which vivify is one, a greenie messiah.

“The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it. Power is what all messiahs really seek: not the chance to serve. This is true even of the pious brethren who carry the gospel to foreign parts.”

I looked up the quote and and the results are almost entirely right-wing websites. And they are used almost 100 percent of time in discussions of climate change.

Wajoma didn't read anything by this Mencken guy, who saw it on a right-wing blog and copied it. That's why he also only uses this quote when discussing climate change.

Ijit, why do you even try that crap, I've got a decent Mencken collection** and even a first edition (with a torn dust cover :^/ ). vvanker.

One of my favorite authors.

Your post is classified: desperation

Haha

**Including the Terry Teachout biography 'The Skeptic" (trigger word for vivfy), who is clearly a lefty but did an excellent job and only allowed a couple of dabs of his politics to creep in, you can easily read around them. Recommended.

@Wajoma
So your POV says climate will swing back to normal any day now, no need to do any of that CO2 reduction, sequestration, whatever, just let it all play out and we will see the temps go down all by themselves, right?

Get lost. You're a raving lunatic not getting enough attention on your raving lunatic thread.

@Wajoma
So tell us YOUR vision of the future of climate change.
Just curious, what do you plan to do say in 20 or 30 years when your island starts to get covered with rising sea levels? Just normal weather, go back home folks, nothing to see here.......
