@wajoma saidThink about when mass production of products like automobiles started; in the early 1900s. By 1940, after years of increased emissions, the chart shows the first spike in global temperatures. That's not a coincidence. As human industrial activity and emissions increased, so have global tempts.
There's nothing perfect about it, you always get carried away with your own hyperbole.
So it's been rising. What would it have done if man had never existed. Tell us what the temp would be if not for man, and please don't say there'd be no change.
You're claiming man is responsible for the change, that would be there'd be no change if not for man. You're going in circles.
If the temp has gone up 1 degree, how much of that 1 degree is man responsible for?
@kevcvs57 saidI didn't say they were infinite, I did say a finite number can still be a very large number.
Ha no they are finite 💩 for brains, a resource that took billions of years to produce has had a massive chunk out of its reserves in 200 years, that’s the definition of finite.
Green energy options are also progressing at a pace and any dollars we drag kicking and screaming away from planet killing carbon options and toward planet friendly infinitely available options will ...[text shortened]... corporate loving clowns like you are dredging out the ocean floors looking for the last carbon hit 🙄
You're being dishonest, that an your ijit emojis it's no wonder people don't like to talk to you. But then I think that's your aim, when you start to feel insecure, you want to shut down debate, and for good reason.

A group of 27 Senate Republicans on Thursday called on the Biden administration to drop its plan to drastically cut vehicle emissions through 2032 and ramp up electric vehicle sales.
@vivify saidThe ban is as ridiculous as a ban on petrol or diesel cars, perhaps that was the aim.

@vivify saidwhat is your data on electric vehicles causing global warming, what is the environmental impact on producing them?

Recharging once built?
Disposing of them at end of life?

STFU y'self.
I'm the consistent one, both bans are ridiculous. I don't say look they want to ban 'X' so we can ban 'Y'. If you want an EV buy an EV, but do some research on where the batteries come from, what their life is and how much it is to replace.

@wajoma saidWhether you think bans on petrol/diesel vehicles are dumb or not, the point remains that I was just addressing Av Joe who thought he was smart by pointing out Dems still using vehicles powered by gas.

It's not like Dems aren't fighting to change this, they are; Republicans are blocking these efforts despite the clear majority of scientists agreeing we need to move away from fossil fuels.

@vivify saidHe made a good point, the hypocrisy of greenies is known. The private jets to Davos, the shortage of limos (non electric) at climate conventions, Al Gore and his beach side house (what about rising sea levels?) that sucks more energy in a week than a whole Indian village does in a year. Hypocrisy on and on.

Turdeau, Newsome, fuggin Biden the worst, Di Caprio, their energy consumption is shameless, yet they lecture, like you.
@wajoma saidThat's a distraction from the fact that Republicans are blocking moving away from fossil fuels. Only a handful of people living on earth can afford private jets you want to use that miniscule amount of people to discount going green?

@vivify saidDidn't I just say one ban is as bad as the other. Blocking this, discouraging that, encouraging the other, get the goobermint out of it. One side's as bad as the other.

If you want to go green go frickin green, how many times do I need to say it. Just don't advocate state force to push your dumb religion on others.
@vivify saidYou go green, you lead the way, convince people to voluntarily follow your greenieness, remove all force from your agenda, if it's a good idea others will follow.
Going green involves the reduction of carbon emissions. Combustible engines must be phased out.
I think you mean combustion not combustible.
You get your non combustible car and try to power it with your roof top solar panels and try to ignore where the battery came from and where it'll go after a relatively short life.
We can agree bans on EVs are as ridiculous as bans on combustion engines and go about our own lives.
