Nothing is ever 100% on these things, but I'd call the odds that it was a failed Palestinian rocket that hit the hospital something like 99%.

If you want an admittedly partisan source, but with lots of backup, here:

Israel has already attacked hospitals and health care facilities in Gaza 51 times, says “horrified” United Nations

    From the UN website:

"There have been over 115 attacks on healthcare across the Occupied Palestinian Territory since the start of the conflict on 7 October, sparked by Hamas’s bloody incursion into southern Israel.

Of this number, 51 occurred in the Gaza Strip, with 15 healthcare workers killed and 27 injured, said Hyo-Jeong Kim, Lead of WHO’s Attacks on Health Care Initiative. The remaining incidents took place in the West Bank."

Israel bombed another hospital and this time they admit they did it. They claimed there is a Hamas bunker under the hospital. Where is the evidence of that?

Even the BBC, which shot its load in the first minutes blaming Israel and has now descended into a "we don't know yet" pose, in spite of itself, says:

[quote]Notable lack of weapon fragments so far
It is sometimes the case that what cannot be seen is as telling as what can be seen.

Usually one of the most important elements in investigating incidents of this kind is an on ...[text shortened]... fragments. Hmmm. I wonder why.

Whether it was Hamas or PIJ I have no idea, but it wasn't Israel.
Yeah news channels including the BBC like to churn out the latest reports on their 24/7 channel
If you are waiting for the worlds media to run everything past an IDF spokesperson in combats don’t hold your breath.
I’m sick and tired of the BBC airing updates from the IDF as if they are a neutral news source.
The same IDF that is trying to justify its actions in Gaza by claiming that Hamas pose an existential threat to Israel’s existence, laughable if it wasn’t so insulting to the worlds collective intelligence, oh and 14000 dead is now officially a Holocaust whilst thousands dead on the other side is simply unfortunate.
I agree with the principle that media outlets should not take briefings from Hamas but they shouldn’t be taking them from the IDF either.
Couldn’t help but notice that the Israelis are preparing us for the bombing of a hospital with thousands of people sheltered inside by claiming it’s a command and control centre for Hamas even though non partisan witnesses are adamant that it’s not.
I’ve never trusted the news read by a guy in combats and never will.
