Great comments coming from the everyone gets a trophy, and close the prisons down community. That should do the trick to stop these sick murders.
Can you find any evidence that even three percent of the adult population of the US are exponents of such policies?

Yet they cheered when Trump was shot on live TV
Who is "they"?

And even if "they" existed, should that be the basis for justifying a public execution?

How long do you reckon a society would stand if it answered every atrocity with another atrocity? Just on mathematical grounds the result would be a boundless escalation of mayhem, to such extent that eventual collapse would be inevitable.

What you are doing, of course, is deflecting. You cannot really justify livestreaming an execution directly, and so instead reach back to some unrelated past event in a failed attempt at employing a "tit-for-tat" logic.

Only two countries have had public executions so far this year: Afghanistan (ruled by the Taliban) and Iran (ruled by a hardline Islamist theocracy).

Having such an execution in the US certainly makes a point. Namely, the right-wing in the US has very much in common with Muslim extremists. This is not to say that the contempt for democracy, authoritarianism, and rigid an ...[text shortened]... wingers cheering it all on have no children and plan to be dead before the crows come home to roost.
Ok, I think depending on where you live, men in women’s sports, most you you think children should a;l get the same trophy as the winners. 65%.

Btw you answered my post if all you have is libbies bs thinking everyone else has to answer questions while none of you answer crap. Good enough crap boy

"Whataboutisms" are usually all that Mott and other right wingers have. Most of the time they're not even accurate making them "False Whataboutisms".

Which ones?

Every company that televises this should have their CEOs imprisoned and their companies shut down.

This is only possible right here, right now, because Trump is president and Hegseth is Secretary of Defense. These two vampires will start a second Civil War in this country and giggle as they bathe in our blood.

We should ALL be deeply ashamed by this.
If a second Civil War ever begins, tell us truly who you think will start it. You need only look to what is going on in the streets of Paris, these people are you, and if you perchance lose the midterms, you will be those people, in the United States. Could not that be what starts a Civil War?? I predict that if we lose,
Republicans will not riot in the streets. So if there is a Civil War after the midterms, it will not be us. It will be you,,, you Suzanne.. So be careful what you wish for, but….. you may wish for that.

BTW I agree with you people about televising an execution. I doubt sincerely that that will happen. But it has gotten to where we have to find some way to stop the slime savages from killing people, and they are searching for a deterrent. Personally, I do not think executing people in any fashion is a deterrent …..people kill. . Hell, your friends over in Iran like to die. So we are trying too hard, in the wrong direction.. people like that are not deterred.

The ones who start it will doubtless be the ones who every day are demonstrably flaunting the rule of law and violating long-standing democratic norms and institutions (such as the courts).

In fact, I'd say it can be argued that MAGA has already started the second civil war, but the other side, rather than reply in like kind or resort to shooting, continues to rely on the courts and put faith in the midterm election helping to restore some sanity.

Why not the Detroit ones?

Aiden Hutchinson could do a lot of damage to a perp. Then Jahmyr Gibbs could run over him on the way to the end zone.
True enough though I’m sure the ones who “really” want to watch the proceedings would be very disappointed.🤔

This is incoherent. You've certainly become immeasurably more deranged since the last time I've traded words with you. Are you drunk? (Serious question.)

The French take their protests seriously, and frankly, I'd be delighted if US high schoolers cared enough about their education to go out and protest over substandard school facilities and a lack of teachers. I can promise you, though, that the Fifth Republic will survive the street demonstrations.
