@AverageJoe1 saidIt has never been proven that the death penalty is a deterrent to crime, and that's not for lack of trying on the part of researchers over the course of decades.
BTW I agree with you people about televising an execution. I doubt sincerely that that will happen. But it has gotten to where we have to find some way to stop the slime savages from killing people, and they are searching for a deterrent. Personally, I do not think executing people in any fashion is a deterrent …..people kill. . Hell, your friends over in Iran like to die. So we are trying too hard, in the wrong direction.. people like that are not deterred.
The only sure thing about capital punishment is that it causes incalculable collateral damage. The list of people executed who later were found to be innocent is a long one indeed.
@Soothfast saidI answered half on the wrong post.DL.
This is incoherent. You've certainly become immeasurably more deranged since the last time I've traded words with you. Are you drunk? (Serious question.)
@Soothfast saidmike has always been incoherent. I need the Enigma Machine to figure him out.

@Soothfast saidThe highest price paid to society for the worst crime in society, funny how you look at it here in comparison. You just compared the US to places like Iran that actually murdered in cold blood thousands upon thousands of it’s own people in the streets and it’s not the first time by far just in smaller numbers. You do understand these people do this around the world in the shape of terrorism and have for many years. So what percent of people do you guess that agree with the death sentence on the US, is this the 3% of people you made the comment on? You do realize how retarded this is don’t you, the face of your party.
Only two countries have had public executions so far this year: Afghanistan (ruled by the Taliban) and Iran (ruled by a hardline Islamist theocracy).
Having such an execution in the US certainly makes a point. Namely, the right-wing in the US has very much in common with Muslim extremists. This is not to say that the contempt for democracy, authoritarianism, and rigid an ...[text shortened]... wingers cheering it all on have no children and plan to be dead before the crows come home to roost.
@YEAH-BOY saidThe fact that people actually believe and thumb up a moron like you says a lot and none of it is positive for any of you.
And wore a tampon on his fake wound. A bunch of maggot buffoons copied the look. Did you and mott wear the hygiene pad?
@Soothfast saidHow dumb of you

@Soothfast saidThere are people who have been let out before being executed. If you look at the few cases listed as being executed then found innocent, the latest I found was one in 1955 and the others from 1915 to 1939, with one from then just now in 2026 being found innocent from a darker point in history. Tell me their name and dates since there are so many going on now not presentism. There are some bs liberal sources that aren’t fact. The other point is low iq thinking and easily proven wrong with other examples.
