@very-rusty saidI have the feeling some might believe the sperm is not alive in the body just like believing a baby is not alive inside the mother's body.
I believe so if you have sperm that is not dead!!! 🙂

@caissad4 saidTo say that the fetus is part of a woman's body is inaccurate. If that were so, then they could grow them by themselves.
So many people here are fixated on women as "baby killers"
They argue that "life begins in the womb".
They point to a fetus in the womb and say "it is a life".
By that logic one can look at sperm under a microscope and see living things swimming around looking for an egg.
By that logic they are clearly a separate life .
So it follows, that every time a man "spills his s ...[text shortened]... Babies
Since hardly a man can say he has never masturbated, you are all babykillers.
Hypocrites !
That is why they need the male to participate. Once the female and male parts connect, a life is born.
So I would assume that you would identify the fetus as a parasite.
Is this correct?
@whodey saidThe sperm would have to be alive or no baby!!!

Dead sperm can't produce a baby! 😉
Also low sperm count will not produce a baby...therefore the sperm would have to be alive!

@Very-Rusty
The sperm is a live individual human being with a complete unique dna?
Sperm and egg are both alive and eventually die unless there is fertilization.
The sperm dies if it gets ejaculated or if it remains in the man's body.
@eladar saidThat is exactly the point of the OP. Is it: both alive, or one alive, one not ?
I have the feeling some might believe the sperm is not alive in the body just like believing a baby is not alive inside the mother's body.
If the sperm is not alive then we have non-life creating life.
If the sperm is alive then "spilling your seed" is simply baby-killing.
It is your belief that a fetus is a baby , but you seem to be arguing at what point life actually begins.
Sperm is alive, that is a scientific fact. How can you reconcile this conundrum ?
@caissad4 saidIt is alive but it is not a unique person. You are a hypocrite because you view a baby as if it is the mother. It is not.

Understand that point and you will understand why you are wrong.

Isn't that a pro-choice argument concerning a fetus ? How interesting, lol.
Please show me where I stated that a fetus is the same as the mother.
