this thread exposed what I have thought…All these libs posting here are either queer or sex freaks.
It is clear they dont understand mental illness and birth defects, and try to normalize them.
Well no, it’s not normal. Using rare instances to try to normalize falls flat.
@Kilroy70 saidStill avoiding the question, I see, resorting to dumb semantics trying to split hairs between assignment and establishment.
Wow! You didn't just drink the Kool-aid, you downed the whole pitcher!
Sorry to say I do not foresee any meeting of the minds here.
This boxer was born female. Whatever word you want to use, assigned or established or determined or whatever, this definition is not chromosome-dependent.
@shavixmir saidYou use the word trans in this answer. You use the word to confuse us or to confuse the question or to change the substance of a question. Is TRANS really that much a part of your life., your thought process, your daily ruminations? Your answers are lost on me. You smack of Marauder. If I ask him if a man should be allowed to compete against a woman, he will say it depends upon what the rules are or what town they live in, or whether it is raining outside. Just pitiful debating.
Joe, how many times have I told you that, yes, I agree. It is an issue worth debating. Nearly the only one the right-wingers have about trans people.
And how many times do I need to tell you, that in comparison to Israel, the alt-right, the rise of fascism in Europe, global warming, etc. that it is VERY small potatoes.
All you do is whine about the subject or come up ...[text shortened]... olution (that benefits all involved).
Until then, it’s a giant nothing-burger on a record player.
If I am whining, then what in the hell do you call what you are doing. I will let you off the hook, just don't answer the question.
@AverageJoe1 saidStop constantly lying about what I say here.

When you say a "man" competing against "girls", you are referring not to an actual man, but to a woman.
It's really that simple.

@no1marauder saidInsert any description you would. Like, an 18 year old boy competing against an 18 year old girl.

I expect you to respond with ..."It would be OK if it were a Tuesday'. Jesus, what a dodger, and I do not mean an artful dodger.
Everyone get ready, Marauder is about to answer what he would do if he were at his daughter's (18 yr old) swim meet, and his neighbor's 18 year old son shows up to compete against her.
If he does not answer this question, I will open a new thread on it just for him.
@wildgrass saidummm, no they are not

@wildgrass saidThis whole thing is ridiculous. Khelif is biologically a woman and has competed in the Olympics and other international events numerous times. IF there is something to the IBA's claims, they should immediately reveal the test supposedly used last year and the specific results (they should have done so before the competition started). They didn't, nothing in the Olympic rules (which require medical tests as well) bans her and people should stop spreading malicious, ignorant scuttlebutt about her.

Maybe if she was destroying every opponent she faced there would be an appearance of .................................. something but she isn't. She didn't even medal at the Olympics four years ago and hasn't won a major international competition. Her record is good esp. after a rough start where she lost most of her early fights but coming in she only had 5 stoppages in 46 fights hardly showing unusual power. And she has a number of losses to top competition. It looks mostly like she landed a good, somewhat lucky punch that broke Carini's nose; that happens in boxing even if you don't have overwhelming power. These aren't small women' they're fighting at 66kg which is equivalent to a welterweight in men's boxing or around 145 lbs. Yes, a woman can get hurt by another woman at this level and weight class.
Jesus, right wingers find something else to cry about. You obviously don't now s**t about boxing.
@AverageJoe1 saidNo, I won't. Your question is invalid to the situations you are referring to. Treatments and surgery for sex change have been around for more than half a century; just because you stubbornly refuse to recognize their validity doesn't mean I should accept such an ignorant and backward position.

What about the elephant in room? Notwithstanding this ridiculous subject of chromosomes which has evolved (I am not qualified to discuss chromosomes) Can one of you say whether you think it is OK for a Man to Compete against a Woman in a boxing match?????????
@AverageJoe1 saidI thought I would post once more the basic question here. EWveryone avoids it, first avoided by Sonhouse 4 months ago. The old pesky Man against Woman problem.
Shav says it is nothing for men to compete against women.
Someone ask him the question SHouse would not answer.
Would you approve, at a swim meet with your daughter or granddaughter, been competing with girls all her life and is going for her major win today, that the organizers of the meet allowed a man with big muscles and large hands and feet to compete against her? What a simple question. Why, goodness me, no mention of chromosomes.
@no1marauder saidSo, stay with me here, little feller......If your daughter has trained for 3 years for this final event at the end of her senior year, a swim meet, and she expects to win and shine with this success for the rest of her life, what would you say if a person who is not a girl shows up to compete against her?

We are all more interested in the way you dodge this question than what your answer might be. Don't let ole AvJoe pin you down!!!!
@AverageJoe1 saidWhen it actually happens, it might be a "problem".

@AverageJoe1 said"Not a girl" according to you? Or according to the officials at the meet?

@shavixmir saidHaven't we all wondered if Shav watches the Olympics? I don't watch BBall!!
I couldn’t care less. To me sports are just games. Nothing important. I don’t watch the olympics… it’s just not funny.
