I believe they were foolish for paying the ransom without knowing she is alive, but I guess they were desperate or something. Problem is now they are really desperate. They have to plead for the public to report something they may have seen which will likely not lead to anything and I think they know that.
Since Savannah is originally from Australia the FBI should be looking into Australians in the USA since Australia was a penal colony. Lots of shady people there.
