I was thinking with a lottery, it would take a while longer for the
politicians (Lotticians?) to be bought off. At least they would start
unbought and I don't think the Lotticians would do any worse a job
than is being done now, like we have a nearly 8 TRILLION dollar
national debt now, etc.

That would be cool.

It think it would be better to have the people involved receive only food and water as pay, be made to work 16 hour days, not be known by their true names, be barred from ever appearing on camera, prevented from touching anything electronic and have to spend week-ends changing dirty diapers at old-age homes.

Then we will see who really wants "to serve the nation" yada,yada.

Methinks that there is an awful lot of "Chimp Credits" involved in political "motivation".

we could institute a rule: If you want to run for office and you sign up to do that, you are automatically excluded because you want to run, therefore you are corrupt by definition🙂
