There are 1,186 towns in England and Wales.https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/populationandmigration/populationestimates/articles/understandingtownsinenglandandwales/anintroduction

The Muslim population in those regions is about 6.5%, so they are significantly underrepresented.https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/culturalidentity/religio ...[text shortened]... andwales/census2021#:~:text=London%20remained%20the%20most%20religiously,from%205.0%25%20in%202011).
The concern is with the big cities. Small towns are not relevant to this discussion. In the big cities Islam, both the religion and the culture have almost taken over, so people who live in these big cities will feel the influence more than someone in a small village, which is probably untouched by Islam and people there will naturally wonder what the fuss is about. Here is some information:

**********************************
Besides Birmingham, which other UK cities are taken over by the Muslims?
Birmingham is on the brink of having a Muslim majority population. The significance of this is astounding. Islam is almost the largest religion in Birmingham. The population stands at around a third of the total city. The official statistic is 30% and so leftists say this is nothing to worry about. But repeat that statistic to yourself.

Official statistics do not include illegal migrants who do not register for the census and all those who simply do not respond to it. Tens of thousands of predominantly Muslim migrants have been illegally entering the UK since 2018 so the actual number must be higher than official records. Birmingham is England’s second largest city. In 2001, Muslims represented 14% of the city and 20 years later it stands at 30%. This is a doubling of its total share. That means by 2040, the city is fast on track for a Muslim majority.

The left will sneer at your question and smugly point out that Birmingham is not currently a Muslim majority city. They’ll say it’s only 30% and proceed to call you bad names. I suppose a third of England’s second largest city subscribing to Islam is nothing of concern? For the leftist, you must not raise concern. There’s nothing to see here! Move along you awful bigot. Let’s complain about that far-right nasty who wants controlled borders.

There are other cities and districts with very high Islamic populations in the UK. The top five are as follows according to official statistics which probably undercount:

- London Borough of Tower Hamlets: 39.9% (123,912)
- Blackburn with Darwen: 35.0% (54,146)
- London Borough of Newham: 34.8% (122,146)
- Luton: 32.9% (74,191)
- London Borough of Redbridge: 31.3% (97,068)

The trend is for these populations to only increase. Already at 40% of the population, Tower Hamlet’s local council and mayoralty is dominated by Islamic interests. There are 45 counsellors on Tower Hamlets, but as I counted from their website, only about five of them are not Muslim. The other 40 are all entirely Muslim or from Islamic backgrounds. The Mayor himself is a Muslim.

This is taking place when Islam is at 40% of Tower Hamlets, so it is entirely reasonable to be concerned about Birmingham’s current Islamic population and their aspirations for political power. Anyone who tells you otherwise has their head in the sand. The left need to ask themselves if this is the future they want for their country. I believe a majority of the left do not want this to take place. But the problem is very dire. Many on the left simply do not believe these trends are happening. They will find every excuse to deny these trends and the many problems they will pose for our future culture.

Speaking about Islam and the problems it can cause is not inciting violence. Apparently people have been arrested and jailed in the UK for doing this. I will pull up the facts and post it later.
Intentionally spreading misinformation that fuels riots absolutely incites violence and such individual should be arrested and feel the full force of the law.

Edit: And you really should seek your news from better sources.

How many large towns are there in the UK with over say 200,000? These almost all have Muslim mayors.
More (ridiculous) misinformation.

Educate yourself:

'Fact Check: Viral post about number of Muslim mayors in UK is misleading'

Yes absolutely.

I don't however have the right to incite violence and hide behind the freedom of speech banner.
Ahhh…but you lie

Why is anyone challenging misinformation or fake news immediately labelled an apologist, secret Muslim or recent convert to Islam?

Is your brain really that small?

Misinformation is misinformation and should be called out as such.
Who determines “misinformation?

I'm none of those.

Best to avoid generalizations, hey?

Edit: And deliberately spreading fake news.
Here?
I see no harm in it, look at what all the lefturds do.

Its quite notable that a lot of the rightwingers/noisemakers in this thread have never set foot in the UK. One of them lives in Trinidad (over-ran by gangs and violence), yet suddenly he can speak for the UK. The second disappointing thing is that these rightwingers/noisemakers can't even check facts for themselves.

The idea that there is a large number of Muslim mayors in the UK is a common piece of fake news.

Here's a breakdown of the facts:

Types of Mayors: It's important to distinguish between two types of mayors in the UK:

Directly-elected mayors (including "metro mayors"😉 who are elected by the public to lead a local authority or a combined authority. Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, is the most prominent example.

Civic mayors (or Lord Mayors) who are typically a ceremonial position, chosen from among the councillors for a one-year term.

Sadiq Khan: Sadiq Khan has been the Mayor of London since 2016 and is a well-known Muslim politician. He is one of the few directly-elected mayors who is Muslim.

Other Mayors: While there have been many civic mayors in various towns and cities who are Muslim, a claim that a specific large number of cities all currently have Muslim mayors is often false. The religion of civic mayors is not always a matter of public record, and their positions are often temporary.

Fact-checking: Fact-checking organisations like Full Fact have debunked viral claims that state a large number of UK cities have Muslim mayors, pointing out that while these places may have had a Muslim mayor at some point in the past, they do not all currently have one.

mmm ok rightwingers?
Bai. 😆 😆

You really are a dummy. What does goings on in Trinidad have to do with the UK. How do you know where I have been or not been? I lived in the UK in my youth for over a year [50 years ago]. My parents [now deceased] and 2 sisters are UK citizens. My daughter is a UK citizen. I visited the UK over 10 times on vacation. I know the UK. I have travelled to parts of the UK many people never travelled like up to the Orkneys, and far south as Lands End, and all over Wales and Scotland. I own a restaurant in the islands here now, and I speak to UK customers almost daily. I know what the UK people think of immigration and Islam. I am a drinker and a good socializer and I know how and when to ask the right questions [after a certain number of drinks], to get a truthful answer from the British, who love to drink. Chances are, I know more about what is going on in the Uk than many British people, including you. Right now Im going to head out to Pigeon Pt {Google it, you would be envious of where I live], where there are many British people and talk to them. I walk with a cooler of beers, and offer them drinks. They love that and I get a first hand, face to face, conversation with what is going on on the ground in the UK. Thats my source of information. The British are wary of internet convesations because free speech is dangerous in the UK if done over the internet and social media, so when they meet me, a fellow beer drinker, and likeminded thinker, they open up and tell me the truth. On this forum youall are full of deceit, especially you.

When something is demonstratably untrue (as with the assertion made in the OP of this thread) then it is misinformation.

Are you ok with the creator of this thread knowing spreading fake news? Like him, do you see no harm in it?

Here's a thought:

Drunken tourists well off enough to be able to go on Caribbean vacations might not be the most reliable source as far as what the average person on the streets of the UK think.

There must be a lot of non-Muslims voting for Muslim politicians if they are winning so many elections when the religions adherents are only 6.5% of England and Wales' population.
