In the past, they could live together but not anymore, thanks to the Islamofascistas and their rabid Imams. The Balkans were the proving ground, capice?
Jews and Christians get along just fine in the US. Europe is where things went whackey.

Aren't people getting annoyed about this?

if they were being treated like POWs, there'd be no problem. If they were being treated like criminals, there'd be no problem. But trying to create a third class and apply rules of your own making contrary to international agreements and the US Constitution is the problem.

[b]NO, to the contary I'm quite pleased with it.
However, if it is believed that the U.S. Constitution can be applied to
enemy combatant aliens, then there should be no problem with America
applying it to the rest of the worlds population.

Where in occupied territory an individual protected person is detained as a spy or saboteur, or as a person under definite suspicion of activity hostile to the security of the Occupying Power, such person shall, in those cases where absolute military security so requires, be regarded as having forfeited rights of communication under the present Convention.
In each case, such persons shall nevertheless be treated with humanity and, in case of trial, shall not be deprived of the rights of fair and regular trial prescribed by the present Convention. They shall also be granted the full rights and privileges of a protected person under the present Convention at the earliest date consistent with the security of the State or Occupying Power, as the case may be.

Why? Not extreme enough for you? I can understand that. They've come a long way down since the church bombings of the 50s and 60s.

Hey if you want to start a thread about it go right ahead. I'll be there.
But of course a little toad like you would not have the guts to make such accusations in such an environment.
Originally posted by XanthosNZCan you not think of any other reply than 'racist' or in this case 'as bad as racist'? Your lack of intelligence is evident in every post you make. You just repeat words that you ave picked up in your student environment.
Your diatrabes against Islam is just as bad as racist chancre.

You take my words out of context like taking candy from a baby!🙄. First, why are you not a citizen after 10 years in the US. It took my mother just 4 years. My brother is married to a Mexican who STILL has no desire for citizenship...after 25 years! Why do you make the sweeping assumption that I could have accomplished what I have in my country of origin (Canada)? This is simply untrue and demonstrates ignorance of what other countries have to offer. Its not like I fell out of a tree in some 3rd world, war torn cesspool.
Explain why you think I shouldn't be able to own a gun. I guarantee that I am more responsible with them than most and I have been background checked, finger printed, licensed and anal probed in order to own them. Plus, I actually use them for hunting and competitive target shooting instead of just to hold up liquor stores.
Please enlighten me as to why I should not be able to own property? I really want to understand why you don't want me to be able to make the US my home. Am I allowed to own a vehicle? Can I tour the country? Can I apply for a loan? How about a credit card? Can I import and export products and material? Could I join the US military if I was so inclined? Can I volunterr in MY community?
Learning English is not an easy task. How long of a transition period are you going to give people? How does 2 weeks sound?
Blending wasn't easy, it took time, hundreds of years in fact and you're not nearly as integrated as you think. For example, racial tension is alive and well. The disparity between rich and poor is only growing. American Culture is not nearly as homogenous as you present it as being.
I appreciate what the USA has to offer and I value it a damn sight more than most of the sht bricks that are actually citizens. Too many people take their rights and freedoms for granted in this country. Too many people piss them away and yet you'd deny me the opportunity to take advantage of what others waste. I'm not suggesting that the US have an open door policy, make it tough, just make it fair. In addition, handle your internal problems with crime and poverty. Use you same take no sht policy with your own people and don't let them drive this great country into the ground.
