One big beautiful bill

One big beautiful bill

Debates

On Tuesday, President Trump lauded a House budget blueprint that would enable Congress to pass much of his legislative agenda in what he called “ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL.”

What's in it? $2 trillion in spending cuts including Medicaid, agriculture, energy (this one I agree with), homeland security.

So, with all these cuts you might expect a leaner government finally able to pay her bills after 25 years. Right? Err, no. They also increase spending in a number of big ticket areas, and give large tax breaks to companies. The projected change to the deficit would go up an additional $2.8 trillion higher than what Joe Biden was spending! That's a huge number.

Yikes. They're cutting less than they're increasing. They're cutting for low income families and giving more handouts to business interests. The net change is an increase to the size and scope of government.

This is a real bill. Not propaganda, not spin. Read it for yourself.

It's like a riddle.

What can you cut and cut and cut again, but keeps getting larger?

Answer: a trump-led government.

One bill to rule them all,
one bill to find them,
One bill to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them.

Wow. It's actually way worse than I thought. The budget would add $19 trillion to the deficit.

Its got no chance of passing. The Democrats are just letting Republicans shoot themselves in the foot.

Pay for what you buy, idiots.

Golly, how would these grown men see any promise in this budget? Are we all just smarter? Maybe we read the entire bill, and they did not? That could be it.

Or, maybe they are greatly happy with the billions and 100s of millions they will receive.

PROMISE? Are you fuuking KIDDING? Eight hundred BILLION cut from medicaid and you think this is a GOOD thing?
So they can apply that money directly to billionaire tax cuts?
But not enough coming out of IRS to pay for it so up the national debt to what 39 or 40 trillion? Just so they can do another tax cut bribe for the ultra rich. Yes, what a GOOD thing this all is.

Tell me where in the budget are there stuff like ROADS, BRIDGES, Solar power farms?
lowering the price of meds, NAH, who needs THAT crap, we want to reward billionaires for being SO universally loved because they are all so ALTRUISTIC.

So how many poor people will die because they have to choose between food for their kids or meds to keep them alive? Repubs REALLY care about that stuff, right?

Misrepresentation? When the fuuking POS bill ITSELF says 800 BILLION ripped from poor people to feed the tax bribe to billionaires? And adding more trillions to the national debt? THIS IS THE BILL.
There is no other way to pay for the POS tax bribe than to rip that money out of the hands of poor people, the POOREST of the US, where they go do we buy meds or feed the children. THAT IS SOPHIES CHOICE NOW.
This is not hyperbola on my part this is FUUKING REALITY.
The poorest of our population are being thrown under the bus and no doubt about it because the bastards writing that bill don't give a rats ass about the poor, they would wish those poor folks would just die and get it over with so they can go on lowering taxes for the ultrarich and raising the national debt to get the money that WON'T be coming from IRS because they are collective ASSSHOLES.
