Only in America does no one seem to notice when CFO's and CEO's make $1,500-$15,000 and hour, yet most act like the end of the world will come if the minimum wage is raised to $15.00/hr. Can you say "brain washed sheep"?? 🙄

Has it occurred to you (as a brain washed sheep), that it may not be a case of one or the other, but of both being wrong?

Yea, one of these days a CEO may make as much as Hillary Clinton does
an hour when she gets paid for a speech.

Increasing the minimum wage, perhaps based on the cost of living in various areas of U.S., so all workers could afford decent shelter, food, clothing, transportation whether that be a bus ticket or a car, and health care would truly stimulate the economy by crating jobs. A growing middle class with money to spend creates the need for goods and services which pushes businesses to hire workers to meet the increased need. Plus it out help plug at least on the corporate welfare entitlements. When business pays workers so little they need any level of public assistance, it really means tax dollars are supporting the business owners via increased profits.

Why don't we just rob everyone's bank accounts and give the money away to others?

Ding ding ding....We have a winner! So many companies can't see that their employees and also their potential customers, and if they starve them, they are also starving their customer base.

What makes you think they even care? Companies of this size aren't about sales any more, they're about dividends. You don't need to have a healthy throughput any more, all you need to do is convince the stock market that you're healthy. Or on that basis, at least, do the CEOs build their policies.
