@no1marauder saidI totally agree, Marauder. (dont get the race thing, though). Immigration as it occurred in era 1840s to 1920s was quite the impact on populating our country and all that went with it. We needed those people. Hell, they WERE THE PEOPLE!! We agree. All orderly, no protests with mex and palestinian flags and people who were here to wreak havoc. You get that,,,,,right???
I don't share the ignorant racist views your childish babbling reveals I do know that every instance of mass immigration into the country was economically beneficial and that would be even more truer now with the US experiencing both chronic labor shortages and a low birth rate. Trump's white nationalist policies are leading to an actual decline in our population, something that history has shown to be a feature of a nation in the throes of collapse.
Something changed, border went up for some strange reason. The people (those immigrants and you and me) lost control, as you see every night on the news.
You bore us with that comparison, (don't get the white nationalist thing, though).
Before I go, here is the answer. Continue getting rid of people illegally here, they broke in line, etc, one of those inconvenient thingys that you and Wildgrass leave out. Next decide, we need 'Xmillion' new immigrants, whose presence, whose pay, all of it, we control.
That's it. Put the leaflets out, USA hiring, etc. We control th whole shebang.
Right now, they control us.
PS: You must LOVE that Katie Porter creature, love the illegals, that'll sure a few votes for her. Then she will let them break in front of your dad who needs a new lung transplant........the third-world trespasser who cannot even read or speak english gets the transplant. I know.....hey wildgrass....inconvenient......
@AverageJoe1 saidYou do not have the ability to answer a question and debate it do you.
Yes same guy. Find a leader with a big job to explain it to you. I won't do it again. Obama said my granny could keep her doctor, his advisor who created Ocare testfied that Obama had been told to lie, and he did.
Hmmm, i think that was the only lie of all the last 5 presidents. 😆
Are you giong to remain so childish with posts. Actually worse than naive.
I was not talking about Obama and your granny; I was talking about Trump.
@kmax87 saidI promise I do not wish to appear condescending or all that other stuff. I speak from common sense. You have reframed my question into exploitation?!?!? C'mon. You swap the idea of 'coercion' (having the other person give me labor) for .........Disagreement Over Wages!!??!!?!?!?!?!? Help me Rhonda.
What you do not see is how this question can be asked by labor as well. Do corporations/businesses have the right to the labor of others to make their products at an absolute bare minimum, rock bottom wage? The dodge always seems to be, ' well if they don't like it they can take their labor elsewhere' ..But when the whole labor market is ruled by a consensus of business owners ...[text shortened]... k the very same sort of question.
Does one person have the right to exploit the labor of others?
Rights and Fairness are not the same thing. Unbelievable. That y'all think like this, not just you, not being personal. Amazing.
A business does not have a right to anyone's labor. It's a voluntary exchange. If it is forced or there's an inability to leave, it's not a market. It's exploitation. So you need to get away from that.
You see, and you do, a low wage that you don't like is not the same as coercion. I would like it if you would......sorta.....step back, take another look, rethink and see if you don't have a different take now?
@Martin saidNoted, but for god sakes y'all write these posts as if Trump should be chided, post after posts, all the way back to "I will end Ukraine in 24 hours'". Trust me, he really thought he could , big mistake was trusting in Putin or whatever.

You are right , whataboutisms suck, in forums, the judges would call us on it... but you imply that NO PRESIDENT should tell, , or has ever told, a lie. That is what you are saying. So your post becomes disingenuous, and I felt obligated, as RHP pays me to do, to clarify this for Sue and everyone.
@AverageJoe1 said"as RHP pays me to do"

Are you serious??
@AverageJoe1 saidThere is NO 'trickle-down'.
On corporate taxes, you’re actually reinforcing what I said: the burden doesn’t sit in a vacuum. Economists broadly agree it gets distributed—through wages, prices, and returns to shareholders. ‘Rich guy’ ain’t got nothing to do with it.
Don't pee on us and tell us it's raining.
@Suzianne saidlet us be civil. This is a rote phrase in DC, th4e plan being lower taxes. tpgether wi regs on businesses and the wealthy.

I remember it well. Ordinary citizens did benefit indirectly jobs, retirement, lower prices, etc. All it took was more productive companies. The businesses grow higher more workers compete for labor, and all of this righteous wages overtime.
The problem, and certainly it is with you, is how much were the guys at the top making... the owners of the businesses, who took the risk and built the businesses did make more money than the people that work for them. But where they were 100 people now that may be 300 people working at his company.
So, the big question for Susie Anne do you want to sit here in quibble about how much more money the guy made that on the business, or be so happy that due to the new economics, that many many more people were working and making higher wages?
To me, not being funny, your only comeback is that the guys at the top should share all the new profits with the folks on the assemblly line, even though they built the company and took the risk.
If that is your position, get a Mamdani flag!!!!! (be careful that the racist does not see a picture of a jew in the corner!!!)
Do you mind that he hates a 'race'? That would be a good topic for you!! Rats, I cannot find an emoji for this one. They need to make one with WonderWoman chewing on her pillow.
@AverageJoe1 saidDude. Trump is just plain lying. And so is the US and UK news media. The BBC just makes me want to puke from their propaganda. Joint US/UK propaganda. It is no wonder the BBC is on US public radio and TV. Same propaganda.
You silly goose. You actually sit there and say the reason that Trump gives is his real reason.
Do you think he ever gave up 1 inch in negotiations in his business when he was working on a deal? No one in the world but he knew what was really going on.
You probably subscribe to this theory of Suzanne that says he should tell us everything he is thinking and why ...[text shortened]... ays something it is not us that he is saying it too, it is what he wants our enemies to hear. Jesus.

@Metal-Brain saidWhat if a president actually creates propoganda to infect the mind if the enemy? Remember he is not talking to us, in the meat of the matter.

@AverageJoe1 saidYou call people coming in from the 3rd world "savages" but deny racist intent? Not very convincing.

In the history of this country, there have always been those who opposed immigration based on ignorant bigotry so this is nothing new. That policies based on this ignorance are now being enforced (in some cases illegally by an administration with contempt for the law and its boundaries on executive power) at a time when it is economic folly to do so is unfortunate.
@AverageJoe1 saidWell it was you and your frieds with the most silly "Trump was always right" who set the bar. So I expect never to read that again now.

@AverageJoe1 saidSo pissing off all Americas allies and imposing surprise tariffs on all Americas friends was just for the camera’s and for Americas enemies. Right!

@AverageJoe1 saidYou've got it wrong; Trump's social media posts are directed at people like you, his gullible, sycophantic supporters, not foreign governments. Those are contacted through diplomatic channels either directly or through third parties not on Truth Social. His posts there are aimed at the minority here, his sympathetic domestic audience, who believes whatever he tells them and will simple mindedly accept his assurances that all is well and going exactly according to his "brilliant plan".
