@AverageJoe1 saidI guess Trump knows all about waste, that is exactly what drove his Atlantic city casino in the ground. Same crap, gold, marble everywhere, he spent money like it was Monopoly.
Jerome Powell is spending 3.2 billion of our tax dollars to renovate the Fed Rserve building, beautiful marble , the works. Trump recently did an investment building simillar to it, and spent only $200Million,,,,not billion. He is a good money saver. A great steward of our money.
He misses nothing. The Fed reserve loses $100M a year. No wonder he wants to eject Po ...[text shortened]... in May. If Trump succeeds in getting him to drop rates a couple of points, watch the economy grow.
So now the attack shifts to financial mismanagement if he can prove it because he HATES Powell.
@sonhouse saidSad, you will never change.

Tell, mr big guy, could you join one of my Board meetings and conribute one iota of helpful opinion? Sonhouse....you gonna answer this one?
@AverageJoe1 said"Donald Trump's casinos in Atlantic City struggled and ultimately failed due to a combination of factors including excessive debt, poor financial management, and increased competition. The casinos, particularly Trump Taj Mahal, relied heavily on junk bonds and high interest rates, making them vulnerable to economic downturns and making it difficult to meet financial obligations. Additionally, the opening of the Trump Taj Mahal created competition for Trump's other casino, Trump Plaza, leading to a decline in its revenues."

"Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Excessive Debt:
Trump's casinos, especially the Taj Mahal, took on significant debt through the use of junk bonds to finance construction. These bonds carried high interest rates, which became unsustainable during economic downturns.
Overexpansion and Competition:
The opening of the Trump Taj Mahal, while aiming to be a flagship property, actually hurt Trump Plaza due to increased competition for gamblers in the same area.
Economic Downturns:
The late 1980s and early 1990s saw an economic recession, impacting Atlantic City's gaming industry. Trump's casinos, heavily leveraged, were particularly vulnerable to these economic shifts.
Poor Financial Management:
There were concerns about the overall financial management of Trump's casino operations, with instances of taking on excessive debt and struggling to meet obligations.
Atlantic City's Decline:
Atlantic City, as a whole, experienced a period of decline in the late 20th century"

Your quote needs attribution. If we don't know the source we can't make our ow assessment as to its impartiality and reliability. You know how much fiction is destroying our news sources. About the only thing I can be sure of is that it wasn't written by AvJoe because his English literacy isn't up to the task. He would have managed at least a couple of apostrophe-contaminated plurals.
@sonhouse saidI bankrupted a biz once, all the rest were golden, like Trump's were. So you must not like me either? And now you are going to tell him how to 'spent his money'? You gonna tell me too? How do you pick and choose your targets??

Edit: Trump and I worked for all of our stuff, which is a plus. Biden never had a job, other than putting his name on the door of an existing law firm, saying (after being last in his class) that he was top of his class.
So where did he get his millions? You can trace that of Donald and me.

This article lists out right failures, THIRTEEN of them AND the 6 bankruptcies besides, 19 businesses either failed or ran into bankruptcies.
Not a great look for this charlatan dictator in training.

Can't imagine why John Adams didn't put a lavish ballroom in the White House. Thanks Trump for being "A great steward of our money."
@sonhouse saidBut that does not answer where biden got his millions, i asked a few clicks up. Never had a real job, that Biden.

@no1marauder saidPerhaps John Adams did not have generous donors to pay for the ballroom?

Marauder, you do not disappoint with your lies about Trump, making Wildgrass Shav and Zahlanzi think that taxpayers will pay for the ballroom. Mendacity!!!! All of it will be covered by private donors. Tsk tsk.look it up, I tire of covering and cleaning up y’all’s posts.
You would fare better with telling us that people whom we have no jurisdiction over can use OUR legal principles such as ‘innocent until proven guilty’. Really? Where does it say that?
