In Steve's honor, I've re-watched the greatest television commercial of all time.

It is a sad day. We will not likely see another like him for another lifetime. I will miss his keynote's. RIP.

Isn't he just another evil capitalist to you?

That is what I was wondering.

Are all those who are protesting Wall Street dancing on his grave?

From what I hear, he was a little left leaning, so my guess is that the left is mourning his loss. However, had he been right leaning you would hear everyone come out saying he was an evil capitalist exploiting the thousands he hired.

To quote John Donne, 'Each mans' death diminshes me, (apart from blood sucking parasites)'.

As a long time Mac user, I've always been able to delude myself into thinking that somehow Jobs was different.

I understand you're being tongue-in-cheek, but even the most ardent socialist could not possibly argue that Steve Jobs did not create wealth and happiness to an extent far, far greater than any that he may have exploited.

Right?

He always claimed he didn't care about the money. Of course, it's a lot easier to say that when you've got more of it than a lot of nation states. Anyway, he certainly would have filled the role of Great Industrialist in a Rand novel. RIP Steve Jobs at least there's a good chance of getting an iphone in the next life, since I can't afford one right now.
