Cops were called because domestic abuser Jacob Blake was doing what domestic abusers do. Cops show up and he fights with cops and gets shot by cops as he tries to climb into a vehicle full of kids with a knife. The cops are white and Jacob Blake isn't so, you know, several nights of rioting, looting, and burning ensue and the cops and other leaders in the city, cowed by the ...[text shortened]... on, but luckily the jurors believed their own eyes instead of the lies of the media and prosecutors.
@no1marauder saidLove how you libs can see a video of Blake going into his car for a weapon and denying that it happened.

@zahlanzi said"Not defending his home" is irrelevant. He was defending himself.
2 people were dead and another was injured by a kid who wasn't defending his home but drove from out of state with the clear intent to be the punisher. What did you expect, for the prosecutor to decide by himself "the correct" course of action? To not have even this travesty of a trial?
"Drove out of state", is irrelevant. Newsflash, it's a free country. We can go to whatever state we want whenever we want.
The prosecutor, being a tool of the same government allowing rioters to destroy things for days on end, did exactly as I expected him to do, which was try ruining a kid's life for political reasons. He should instead have done his job, which was to investigate whether a crime had been committed (let alone one he could prove beyond reasonable doubt), find out that one hadn't, and not further traumatize a teenager. It would have taken him an hour on YouTube, tops.
@no1marauder saidYou always find a way to blame the victim you so want to be guilty. Every time you're holding out for that jury to surprise everyone, but they always surprise you instead. Give it up. You're either wrong or a liar, and I'm pretty sure which it is.

Larry Lawton, convicted jewel thief and goodfella to la Cosa Nostra, has this to say:

Sounds to me like Rittenhouse will be exonerated and probably rightly so. There will be no riot. He was defending himself and his weapon from aggressors. It’s on camera.
@sleepyguy saidYou know full well that I never indicated a belief in what verdict the jury should bring, so who's the liar, Sleepy?

-Removed-He feared that the assailants would rob him of his weapon and shoot him. So, he shot them first.
All the chest pumped out right wingers are unable to draw a distinction between arguing that the jury reached a reasonable verdict based on the law and condoning (in some cases celebrating) Rittenhouse’s actions.
@zahlanzi saidSure, all those things are true, but he wasn't a criminal. One of the lessons here is that if you have a team of highly paid defense lawyers, it's really hard to prove that a shooting was not self defense. I suppose others could follow in his footsteps, but why would they want to?
dude common. he went there with the express intent that he will show those evil rioters what's what. That he will defend the decent people with his gun. He was set on using violence, a snotty brat with no training whatsoever.
He was convinced the protesters are dangerous and he was determined to be more dangerous.
What will deterr a proud boy from showing at a blm pro ...[text shortened]... ctivist from going to a maga rally and shoot some trumpets? They can just say "i feared for my life"
While he did not commit a crime, his actions were deplorable. I'm annoyed that the conservative pro-gun base is celebrating Rittenhouse’s actions. What happened in Kenosha was a tragedy caused by a deadly weapon. Let's not pretend he did the right thing just because we didn't like the people he killed.
@wildgrass saidour school boy took down three of your thugs...deal with it.

Interesting:
"Kyle Rittenhouse's criminal defense attorney told Insider that he thinks it is "disgusting" that some prominent Republicans have tried to cash in on his client's acquittal.
"There's a lot of people trying to profit on this, and I don't think people should," said Mark Richards, who represented Rittenhouse in his Kenosha homicide trial, during a phone call."
""They're raising money on it and you have all these Republican congressmen saying come work for me," Rittenhouse's attorney told Insider. "They want to trade on his celebrity and I think it's disgusting."
Richards also spoke negatively of Donald Trump Jr. tweeting that a gun rights organization would "award" Rittenhouse with an AR-15.
"Gun Owners of America is sending Kyle Rittenhouse an AR-15. Sign the card in support of Kyle. Americans have a fundamental right to defend themselves and to keep and bear arms. The verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial is a recognition of those rights," Trump Jr. said in a since-deleted tweet.
Richards told Insider: "He's an idiot. I don't have to expand on that because it speaks for itself."

People like Matt Gaetz should STFU and stop doing touchdown dances after the resolution to a tragic story.
