By calling policies that take care of citizens like universal healthcare "handouts" (a pejorative term), you've proven my earlier point about Republicans oppressing the poor.

My comment was merely an opinion, nothing more. You being emotional frequently clouds your judgement (as well your poor reading comprehension). This could be why Duchess is the only one this forum who makes excuses for China's genocide. Funny how you never get emotional for the Muslims China oppresses.
My comment was not the least bit combative, and not the least bit confrontational. I thought me and Duchess were actually getting along amicably, and made my post with that belief.

FMF, for different reasons, usually has more dislikes than likes on his posts; the only time this isn't the case is when he slams Duchess, like in this thread: Thread 189841. Duchess' reputation and character is quite poor.

If you read the whole para at top of this page, your statement read/implied that the entitlements are for the poor, and that we oppress the poor. You were wrong. They are for many people, (I call them losers) , not just the poor. Did you get and cash one or two $300 checks?

So how is universal healthcare in Cuba working out? Do y’all know one way Cuba gets rich....They send a few thousand doctors to Europe, to aid in Covid. .Europe pays Cuba in US dollars and Euros. Castro (Raoul?) puts it in the safe over his bed. Raoul pays the doctors in Pesos, maybe even Cups. (a form of Cuban exchange, pronounced coops). With all the money the doctors ostensibly received, their pissant pesos have them continue to live eeeeeeequaaaallll in their society.
