Seriously, they are in the streets, turning over cars. Why would they protest the very type of society that many liberals are trying to institute in this country?

Communism is a form if socialism. No one is trying to bring communism to the U.S., just some socialist ideas. Medicaid and social security are socialist ideas we already have in the U.S.

Furthermore, Cuba isn't really communist. In communism, production is controlled by the people as a whole; Cuba is an authoritarian government where that clearly doesn't happen.

Was about to post this. Communism is dying. Socialism in its purest form is the road to poverty, laziness and failure. Marx [and those of similar philosophies] are idiots who do not understand what it takes to make a successful economy. People who live in those systems understand the pain and suffering, but those who live outside dont. Its like a glass case with cake; the flies outside trying to get in and the flies inside want to get out ...lol 😀

In communism productive processes are all owned by the people, owned, not controlled. The government controls it, and do it on behalf of the people

Owned, controlled...the meaning is ultimately the same.

One more point: Fidel Castro had a net worth around 500 to 900 million dollars. That wouldn't be the case in a truly communist nation where there are no classes of people.

Cuba is not (and never has been) truly communist

Who cares. These are countries that profess to practice communism. They are all failures. They have oppressed the poor and stolen resources from the country. These leaders should all be executed.

Witness, in a few days, the people who live under communism will see the communists, their plantation owners, turn off the internet. We can assume that Cubans have learned what freedom is like through the internet.

Its rather idiotic to nit pick a few words. Have you ever seen what daily life is like in cuba? That is what you advocate for…just too stupid to realize it.

That probably would not happen if the US didn't have a trade embargo imposed on Cuba. That being said, times are tough everywhere because of covid. The people can see that their government is not really socialist in the true definition. It is crony socialism where a small minority benefits from a corrupt system. That is not how socialism is supposed to work. Many Cubans notice.

Internet, families living abroad and tourism educated many of them. Somehow I dont think they will be oppressed more right now. Im hoping this will be the end of that communist regime and change is coming.

Then why is China the second largest economy in the world? And why China the most rapidly growing economy in world?

They have oppressed the poor and stolen resources from the country. These leaders should all be executed.

Funny, that's just like the U.S. See the Native Americans who had their resources stolen. See Slavery, which first built the wealth of the U.S. See the transcontinental railroad. See Republicans who continue to oppress the poor and make the poor pay the tax breaks of the rich.

Maybe you're right about executing them. Compile a list of conservatives you want axed.

You mean me discussing the *core principles* of what makes something communist?

Dumbass.
