Should teachers wear body cams?

That would be illegal. Students are not allowed to be filmed. If they were, then their behavior would be seen by all.

Better to blame teachers for kids not achieving. Holding students responsible is not acceptable.

The purpose of the proposal was to make sure that teachers aren't teaching things right wingers think kids shouldn't know about like the US had slavery.

No1, you left out where the teachers ask children what gender they assign to themselves. I know that you live to love this stuff, but it went on to where a child saud to a teacher that she was confused and wanted to talk to her parents about it. The teacher said absolutely not you cannot talk to her parents about it. This was on the news this morning. Yall are not only ruining the country, you are ruining our children. Next you will have a flag to parade down your venerable streets to brag about what you have done and what you are doing.

@AverageJoe1. The child was shown standing at a podium speaking to a panel of teachers asking , in my terms, what in the hell is going on

"The news" meaning what Breitbart? Newsmax?

The proposal was endorsed by Tucker Carlson for the purpose I said a month ago: https://www.wired.com/story/the-absurd-proposal-to-put-bodycams-on-teachers-is-feasible/

Might be a good idea to protect teachers from false accusations, which is common.

Why not mandate bodycams for all of us to make sure we're not promoting Critical Race Theory to children?

Schools are a government institution. It is the difference between public and private.

@AverageJoe1

Only in America. This is so sick, even to have to raise the question whether teachers should wear body cams. It's like asking whether teachers should pack handguns, in case a shooter shows up. Stop putting bandaids on the hemorhage and start dealing with underlying issues!

Underlying issue is social promotion. Hold zero standards, do not require kids to learn anything and refuse to get rid of kids who disrupt the learning environment.

In this kind of environmental deviant behavior thrives and education suffers.

You are pretending the proposals address something they don't.

They are not to be there to monitor the kids, but to prevent teachers from instructing students about facts right wingers don't want the latter to know. That sure sounds like something that would "disrupt the learning environment".

@no1marauder

I was responding to Moonbus, not the purpose for body cams.

Sorry, thought you might stick to the subject of the thread.

My bad.

It was a video of a child standing in a school auditorium speaking with her heart about these requirements, and then, the restrictions.

I guess in your liberal snarkiness, you first jump on that old saw about questioning the source, throwing in a bit of Tucker Carlson to spice it up? You speak as if it is not true? You know it is true, hell, it is in the air!!! You people are everywhere, tearing down and cancelling institutions and, now, children!?!??
