What is your idea of correct?
I have no idea what that question pertains to.

I'm saying this; the same administration that is attempting to require you to prove your citizenship by a birth certificate to vote, is trying, at the same time, to make a birth certificate useless in proving citizenship.

@no1marauder said
Actually to get a passport, you have to present a birth certificate if you were born in the US. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/citizenship-evidence.html

Again, if right wingers get their way, I have no idea and neither do they apparently, what would replace it.
There is a way to get a passport without a birth certificate
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/citizenship-evidence.html
see the secondary citizenship evidence. It's harder but there.

I'm talking about if the concept of birthright citizenship is not longer followed in US law as right wingers are insisting it shouldn't be, a birth certificate won't prove citizenship like it does now and will thus be worthless for voter registration.
Are you fine with what I actually asked you.

Let’s say we have something so important like our presidential elections, we see holes. Now tell me, should we make them as secure and honest as possible for all the people of our country and those running? This is why so many people from both sides wants them shored up. Is this common sense?
Yes.
We finally have an adult debate

What are the holes? Someone asked this question to speaker of the house and he didn't have an answer.

Come on, man, have a conversation. There's nothing in what you said previously that I haven't responded to in a serious manner with facts. Maybe you could try that?
This one expects co-posters to remeeeemmmmmber what they'd posted. before. Jesus h christ
Here is an idea, ,,,,,restate it in a plausible sentence???What is wrong with you people. Here is an idea,,,,,,read the the OP, and respond to it.

If you guys succeed in making a birth certificate worthless in proving citizenship, how will anyone be able to register to vote?

A question no right winger seems willing to answer.
???????????????????? They have to prove who they are, Marauder. Am I the only one picking up on this person who is FIGHTING the idea of someone proving who they are?? Recently he said that it is too much troubbbbllllllllle for them to get proo fof citizenship.. My granny goes3 blocks every 2 weeks to groceries,,,,,,lets see,,,,that is is 26 times a year. The law wants her to go somewhere, once, to get vote-proof info, once in her lifetime,.
Kiss my butt Maruder . Sorry, I did not mean that.

Oh, as to your empty question.... I am talking about the voting booth, My Aunt Plum, sitting there!!! What in the Hell has voter's birth certificate got to do with the voter voting, you silly little wayward poster looking for a foothold?@@?@?@??!??!?!
IT IS NOT PRESENTED AT THE VOTING BOOTH, IT IS USED FOR PROOF TO GET CERTIFICATION OF CITIZENSHIP!!!!

Is this reality,? Sonhouse is losing it on this VERY thread.

For me, any voting done by someone not legally able to do so and the securing and handling of the votes. Also things like with rules followed like cutoffs and not much later finding more and more votes until someone wins. I would also stop any vote where someone doesnt have to prove they’re a citizen. Do you think things like having the most secure elections possible is important?

I have not seen and don't think there is evidence that these holes will be fixed with proposed solutions.

It is telling when House leadership cannot provide examples of the type of voter fraud that this law would prevent.

@lstcyr said
You are trying to close pinpricks and very isolated examples by making voting more difficult for everyone. Why not go the other way? For every birth in the U.S., creat an automatic voting record online. For every passport issued, create a voting registration. For every citizen getting a driver's license, create an automatic voting registration. If you do that, then the number ...[text shortened]... , I forgot the intent is not to get people to vote but to stop the wrong people from voting. Got it.
This one has ideas of how to make it right, commendable. We need more of you. So, push it to your legislaors, to come up with anything that will prove citizeship, whatever that is.
Keep in mind Marauder's more liberal approach, which he has never made clear , but it does NOT deal with proving citizenship slamp-dunk. If it did, he would say it outright. Say it Marauder. Weenie.

Ok, was no mail in voting except military one step.

Again, there isn't any indication that these are solutions to the fill the holes you identified.

I already showed you that handwriting is more reliable than relying on a photo ID (does Aunt Plum have training in facial analysis techniques esp. when someone has altered their appearance or expertise in identifying a fake photo ID - of which millions exist in the US?).
Everyone read this fool 3 times.
Note that there are hundreds of people in the line outside of the voting precinct.
Hahahaha And Marauder is pulling this crap at the front of the lineπŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
