You obviously jump from bed to bed with the frequency of a cheap CB radio.
Only those with incomes of $90k/yr. or lower will get the rebate. And even those who paid No taxes will get the rebate.

I like this quote from Winston Churchill:

"We contend that for a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle."

Typical answer from a lib a-hole. They didn't earn anything. They don't pay taxes. They are getting money from people like me who pay taxes. How big is my house? Which one? They are both payed for along with my 5 tractor trailers. I probably spend more in a year in diesel than your house is worth. I'm sure you are waiting in anticipation for your 300.00 check. You Lib's love to spend other peoples money.
read the web site, It is an official govt. web site, they won't get a rebate unless they have earned income, welfare and social security are not counted. The give the money to lower middle class, because there it has the best chance of getting directly into the economy. If you got a $300 rebate check, would you run right out and spend it on a new washing machine, probably not. The rebate is wasted on you.

Obviuosly the tax rate isn't too high yet, as you have been able to do very well for yourself in spite of the crushing weight of supporting all those welfare gueens.

p.s. libs arn't giving the rebate, Bush is....you rethugs love spending other peoples money.

I read "it". Are you talking about the letter to Sen. Lautenberg from some ignorant slut. That was not an official gov,t statement. Why is it so difficult to find the correct answer? Maybe cause it's a mumble jumble gov't program, whatever?

Fascist Slut GRANNY.

Yeah I've done real well for myself because I didn't have my hand out. I went in the Army after graduating High School in 69. I spent 20 years in the Army where I raised 7 of my 9 children on a Army paycheck which sure as hell isn't much. I even moonlighted delivering pizzas to supplement my income. I had the other two children after I retired in 90 as a E-8 and never once did I get a food stamp or get welfare. All I have now has been attained by hard work and persistence. I never whined about the situation I was in. I just sucked it up and drove on. Yes it pisses me off when I have to sign a $30,000.00 check and watch it being used so some a-hole can get a shopping spree. I got news for you buddy. There isn't any poor people here in this country. Poor people don't drive cars, have TV's with cable, $200.00 tennis shoes, ect. ect. Go to Africa, Asia, or Latin America. There you will see poor people.

there arn't poor people like Africa, because we have a social safety net. 40 years ago before Johnson, there were people like that here. There are still small pockets of that type of poverty, but it is rapidly disappearing.
Glad you worked hard and did well for yourself. What about the millions who worked hard all their lives just to keep their heads above water? F them? My concience won't allow me to do that. The problem , you see, is that for me, poverty and social justice are a part of my faith. John Wesley said" There is no holiness except social holiness".

Edit: and for the record, I am against the stimulis package, I said so on the first page, our disagreement lies with levels of taxation

people like my parents who worked there whole life, and did there best, but would have a meager retirement if not for their children. For the millions of blacks in the south who worked their wholw life in menial jobs, because that was the only job they could get. If you don't live in a poor community, then the poor become invisible to you. It takes effort to see them, even though they are right in front of you.

Children are either a luxury or an investment. They're expensive. I choose not to have them so I can have other luxuries and other investments. Your parents decided that children were where they wanted their extra money to go. That was their decision.

That's fine, 'faith' is a belief without proof or reason and you're welcome to it, I have as much respect for your faith as the ones that calls for suicide bombings or banning euthanasia and gay marriage. While I don't respect your faith I do respect your right to it. People must be free to be as irrational as they like, but the line is crossed when the true believers (probably out of frustration that the rest of the world dosen't 'see it'๐Ÿ˜‰ start with getting ideas that force is answer.

Charity is only possible when it is voluntary.
