Okay, I'll leave this up for a while to see if any of the previous takers are still interested, but then I'll probably suggest we start a new book. I'd be interested to see if Bennett would like to take part in this, I'd love to knwo what he's reading.

I don't know if you want this as a candidate or not , but I'm bringing up "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole (sp on author ?) . The main reason being : after the SVW pool , I kept thinking about him and his posts ; there was/is something strangely familiar there . Then it hit me reading this post - he reminds me so much of Ignatius Reiley , the 'protagonist' in "Confederacy.." . (Hard to call him a protagonist , he's such an obnoxious character .) Even if no one wants to read it , can anyone who has read it comment on my preceived parallel to I. Reiley and SVW ? It's been a number of years since I read it , but SVW has now made me want to reread it .
