You fellers talk about yesterday. Prob is, you don't mention Jimmy Carter giving away the canal,.... all the dem bad stuff. So it was all so great as the USA started losing prominence. Man, Obama capped that when bowed to an Arab. Jesus.
Yeah, talk about yesterday. New sheriff now, though. Pick an administration..
Contrary to your wet dreams, the US doesn't own the world.

Did you use the word influence in your post!????!?!?!!?!!?!?!?!?!?
Why do you not use it in the first sentence, and in the 2nd, both of which make it obvious, indeed, who it was that got the attention of these losers in NATO.
Trump. Riiiiiiiigggghht.
Do y'all still not get the picture? Catch the train. Every nation in the world defers to your presdident, who ...[text shortened]... Trump, I have gotten it all back since I got back in. NOW it will take off. Funhouse, your take???
Trump is a megalomaniac.

And you are a fool for worshipping him.

I think the best man for Democrats is Hakeem Jeffries.

You're not ready for that.
It is not a matter of him, it is a matter of his policies. So now that you have named your choice, tell us what his policies are. what he has he told us about anything (but Trump.)

Are we considering invading Poland or something?
No, but Putin is. If he gets away with invading Ukraine, what's to stop him?

* Airforce bases to maintain global acces (has shown to be very useful in both Iraq wars, the war in Lybia and the war in Afghanistan

* Military hospital in Landstuhl (proben valuable in the same wars)
As I recall, when the U.S. hostages were freed from Iran during Reagan's 1st presidency, their first stop was Wiesbaden, which had (or maybe still does have) an airbase and a hospital w/ appropriate facilities for receiving traumatized people.

That's not far from Ramstein, the biggest US air base in Europe.

It may be that casualties and freed hostages from all over the ME land at Ramstein and are then transferred to Wiesbaden.

I lived in Wiesbaden for a few years; there was at that time an American aeronautical university campus there, where I did part-time work. Nice town; not bombed during WW2.

I heard it was also a first stop for US astronauts coming back on a Soyuz from the ISS.

Can someone remind me why we need troops stationed in Germany in 2026?
Thank you. The USSR dissolved itself 33 years ago.

NATO is a money game. The US pays and Europe reaps the bennies.

SCREW NATO.

Excuse me, Pondy, America needs 40+ bases in Germany? what a joke.
America has more military bases in Germany than Germany does. That is sick

NATO.

Unlike Ukraine, Poland is a NATO nation, and Putin wouldn't dare. Also, this war has left Russia heavily depleted.

The U.S. pays about $900 million to NATO. The Iran war already cost $50 billion.

If your issue is money, shouldn't you be objecting to that?

Simple question: do you object to NATO for your own reasons or because Trump does?

No, I object to the Iran war and have made that no secret in here. I object tto all wars.

I have openly objected to NATO in here for years, and the reasons are obvious.
1) The USSR no longer exists.
2) Let the Euros protect themselves and let them finally find out what a decent military costs to run.

The USSR never died in Putin's mind. He's trying to resurrect it. The Cold War never ended in Putin's mind; he's still trying to win it. Separating the USA off from NATO is one of his interim goals, and he's succeeding at it.

Trump is a card carrying ASSSHOLE, he doesn't know CRAP about military strategy and all that and we NEED NATO, the best alliance in 60 years but OF COURSE you being a nice tame Trump Propagandist you will RE-PUKE out all the BS and outright lies of Trump, puking out crap every HOUR and then ten minutes later he doesn't even remember what he said earlier and he not able to even say what country Milania is from.
You worship a dude going downhill mentally. His cognitive functions are way down, walking really slow now, swollen ankles and blotches on his hand and we can SEE that stuff right on TV.

You worship a dude way out of his league, above his head, above his pay grade, and he now has a net worth approaching seven BILLION when two years ago he was worth MAYBE 2. So at least 5 billion he has gotten as a DIRECT result of being POTUS, and BTW ALL ILLEGAL, but of course since you WORSHIP your Lord and mentor Trump he can do anything he wants, laws or no laws, since SCOTUS gave him infinite powers NOBODY can even arrest him right now because he is our GOD, is that about it?
