I never heard them called 'communist'. I have just heard NK called a dictatorship which is in fact what it is.
If they were NOT communist, would China be so friendly with them?

Communist China is NK's only friend. Not a coincidence.

Talklng politics with you is like talking to a soap opera aficionado, you only seem to 'know' the story you've been told.
Touting the party line is much more prevalent in North Korea, because there is only one party (the current leadership) and touting the party line is mandatory.

But you live in the US, so what's YOUR excuse?
Afraid of the woke mob, or afraid antifa/BLM will surround your house and demand an apology?
Seriously, what are you afraid of?

I have never heard of Juche in my life. Ever. In all my life, NKorea has always been known as a COMMUNIST country, complete with a Dear Leader.

Now, if you have found some variant of marxist-lenninist communism that deserves its own name, then congratulations, but it is still COMMUNIST in the curbstone vernacular, got it?

Don't you ever hit me with this JUCHE chit again.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like duck, it's a COMMIE f'n duck

As we all know, the reclusive country, North Korea, is a prime example of leftist ideology gone unchallenged. Despite much of the news in NK being hidden away, some news still manages to seep out.

Uh.

Ya.

You do know the basics of socialism, don’t you?
The people who produce have control of production and an equal say in distribution.

How is that in anyway reflected in North Korea?

Is there a trias politica? Are there trade unions? Are leaders chosen and deposable? Are resources equally distributed? Are there equal rights? Are there checks and balances on the power-structure?

Nothing. There’s nothing left-wing about North Korean politics and its crackpot dictator.

That being said, there is a form of free education (leading to a military career) and for a low income country, they have a reasonable healthcare system in place.

But just because they have a few socialist policies in place, doesn’t make them socialist.
And just because they call themselves a democratic republic, doesn’t make them either democratic or a republic.
