Why to the poor waste their money?

Today I had the misfortune to go to a 99p store. The shop is effectively full of plastic rubbish, with a few out of date DVDs and snacks. The Poor, a tracksuited welfare supported strand of society were filling their baskets with this tat.

I don't mean to generalise, but poor people often Smoke, have Sky TV, eat Junk Food, Drink heavily and Gamble. No wonder they die early. No wonder they are poor.

But to be honest I don't if I'm angry about them wasting my hard earned taxes or jealous of their thrill seeking lifestyle.

Maybe you should give this "thrill seeking lifestyle" a whirl.....

Quite simple. They are trained to do so. Who trains them? We do.

"The poor", have as much a right to make their life what they want
it to be as the next guy. Why do you care what they do with their
time and what little money they have? You want someone judging
you on how you waist your time and money? They could do better,
no doubt, but who couldn't?

No, it does not. It gives you the right to vote out the people that
give your tax money away, what the poor do with that is theirs is
their business not yours.

All things are relative. I was once told by a cleaning lady that the neighborhood in which I live has “gorgeous” homes. Thinking she was mistaken about where I live, I mentioned a landmark near our house... said she passes it everyday on the way to work. It’s not a slum, but “gorgeous”? Come on! One of my wife’s doctor friends once told her she felt sorry for someone because they only made $60,000 a year. Personally, I just wasted money buying a 1950’s Russian chess clock on e-bay. Really, what do I need it for? I was at the mall today and came home with 4 books. The library in only two streets over and I could have borrowed reading material for free. We have 3 tv/vcr sets (family room, library and bedroom) in our house. Why? I don’t know. We were in my wife’s former boss’ multi-million dollar home several times. You wouldn’t believe the stuff he has “wasted” money on. We all buy stuff we don’t need (and can’t afford) because, like has been said, we are trained to do it. We just do it on different levels.

I don't like to make fun of the poor. I realize it wouldn't take much to happen for me to be numbered among them!

Don't forget to mention their kids:the non-working Poor usually have more than one child and these kids are likely to follow in their parents' footsteps, which probably means living off benefit.

Sometimes I feel they ought to be reminded that contraception is FREE on the NHS 😞

I wonder if castration is 😲

The welfare state seems to encourage them not to have jobs and to have more children. It should be paid in food/utility vouchers. Luxuries like TV, cigarettes, DVD players, cigarettes, cars and cigarettes should only be available to those who work for them.

What do they care? Once you remove personal responisibility by handing out free food, housing, and healthcare it's open season on the taxpayer's wallet. That's the kind of payback we deserve for supporting such a system!😲

Sorry, haven't had my bisquits and gravy this morning.😞

The walfare state isn't the poors fault, it is our fault. The complaints
should be against the system that keeps people in a state of not
being able to be productive, and putting them into a place where
if they tried to be productive they get hurt.
