Russia spent money and resources in 2016 to influence our elections. Trump's campaign managers were involved in this, sharing information with Russian intelligence. Those members of Trumps campaign went to prison rather than answer basic questions about what they were doing. On those facts alone, it made sense for FBI/CIA to investigate. All the other acronyms in the Federalist article are distracting.

Of course the judge said no. Trump knew he would. Those files are sealed for a reason, not the least of which is to protect the witnesses.
And this is not trial testimony. It is Grand Jury testimony. Nothing new would be found there ANYway.

Well, what did the head of the Russian government say 7 years ago? Of course, he denied interfering at all but:

At the bottom of all that also ignores the fact that Trump's campaign manager admitted to meeting with Russian agents, and then refused to answer simple questions about what was discussed. Multiple trump allies went to prison voluntarily because they refused to answer simple questions.
Of course given all that it makes sense for FBI/CIA to investigate. The thesis that Obama ginned up the whole story is completely false.

Artfully deceptive if that's what you think it means. Most people hear treason.
