Treasonous conspiracy is why there was 168 FoxNews segments on the story in 2 weeks time. That line drew everyone in.
But, Sleepyguy, the Federalist article writes "treason" zero times. In fact, all of what is stated in the Federalist article was also in the previous reports (e.g. John Durham). A lot of acronyms to make it look official and new and newsy. Yes, mistakes were made, reports weren't filed properly, the idea that they relied on a single source was a bad idea etc. ALL OF THAT IS OLD NEWS!!! Thousands of pages of ink and hundreds of hours of FoxNews airtime already dedicated to fleshing that out. That was 5 years ago, and then we did it all again 2 years ago when the Durham report came out. You must remember all that?
Of note, the Federalist article ends with a "belief" that there's something more, it came from a Foxnews segment. The endless news cycle recycling, err regurgitating, the exact same news story 9 years later.
Russia spent money and resources in 2016 to influence our elections. Trump's campaign managers were involved in this, sharing information with Russian intelligence. Those members of Trumps campaign went to prison rather than answer basic questions about what they were doing. On those facts alone, it made sense for FBI/CIA to investigate. All the other acronyms in the Federalist article are distracting.
