According to Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_Rico

Territories of the United States are subnational geographical and political areas governed as administrative divisions and dependent territories under the sovereignty of the United States. Does this also apply to the District of Columbia?

No, the District of Columbia is the capital city of the US and is a 'federal district'. This is different from a territory, and is common throughout the world.

It was fun (the sad, unfun kind) seeing another line being crossed in Amerika with the Obamas as monkeys post. We look back with nostalgia at the good old days when racism was implied or subtle. When racists looked behind them to see who is listening before telling a racist joke.

The president of the United States put a picture of black people as monkeys. Let that sink i ...[text shortened]... th:
America is not like this because Trump is president. Trump is president because THIS is America
blacks are a special race that no one can joke about or make fun of.

all other races are game tho.

If my child's school has a parade in celebration of their school.....follow me here, Sue, this is big.....................they will have their school flag Right Out Front, as they march singing their School Song!!!
Now you just tell us how the flags of the other schools in town would be appropriate in my Child's school parade. C'mon , tell us.how, if it was OK at SuperBowl, it would be OK in this parade????
How many times are you going to write this stupid analogy? Emphasis on anal.

The POTUS should not be mocking anyone, not the handicapped, not people with autism, not any race or religion, not journalists who ask awkward questions (it's their job to do that), or women, or transpeople, or athletes who don't bring home medals, the working poor, or soldiers who fell in battle or were PoWs. He has a reprehensible attitude towards everyone who isn't in his rich-man's golf club.

How is the parade with the school flag different than the American Super Bowl with the American flag. Each has a flag, you see.

Nonsensical.

You should be embarrassed floating such a ridiculous comparison.
Hey,, I want to show you something ridiculous, alright.
In the thread about the school parade, with its symbolic flag, I got a response from Marauder that you should read.
I mention this not about him per se, he has his comments, ................but like you, always misses the issue.
This thread was about symbolism. He responds about the money to be made by the football industry, globally, blah blah.

A GREAT example of how you all never can get an issue. And sorry, but my analogy,,,,,the school parade? Absolutely perfect, unless, or course you are all about how much money was t be made. Yeah, something to cheer about, butthat was not the gist of my thread.
I had pictured in my head the precious students with their flag, and I open his post and read about the NFL and other blah blah that had nothing to do with the issue.

That's because no one cares about your moronic analogies. When are you going to understand that. You've been told numerous time so STFU.

Celebrating Puerto Rico by showing their flag does not mean they dislike America or its flag. What is wrong with you?

Should 8 other high schools display their flags in a parade on Main street celebrating the wonderful high school of Sonhouse's granddaughter, where she is carrying the high school flag right up at the front with her breaming friends?!?!?

Hudson High, Smith High, Jackson High, DeShandre' High, de'Quwentis High, Robingson High, all of their flags in the Ridegemont High parade?

Why, symbolism, of course.
