From the Foundation of Economic Education:
"In 19 states, a family of four with two parents who aren't working can receive benefits roughly equal to a $100,000 annual salary. Across all 25 "Blue" states choosing to leave the benefits in place, the average unemployment for a family of four exceeds $72,000, significantly more than the median household income of $68,703."
Looks like you are well-covered, why don't you just leave things as they are and the rest of us will do our best to fund the programs.
@AverageJoe1
It's amazing, isn't it!
I told my labrador retriever this morning (she is a die-hard Democrat) to enjoy her day laying around the house. I leave the TV on for her. She spends the day relaxing in a recliner, wondering when I'll come home to give her treats and take her for a walk.
I go out, work 55-65 hours per week, and pay enormous taxes to fund government housing, welfare, health care, etc., for millions of Democrats.
They got it made. So why do they seem so angry all the time? They bark about slavery, but have meanwhile enslaved us!
Welp, gotta go. Duty calls.
PS: At least my Lab isn't angry! She loves me with all her heart and soul.
@averagejoe1 saidNo you won't you'll do your best to cut taxes so as to defund these programs

Ok, Liberals... try to justify how the same "benevolent" federal government can tax people who EARN $100,000.
Isn't Big Gov depriving such people of the BASIC RIGHTS???
Think long and hard about same said government that taxes people making minimum wage, $7.25/hr, or $15,000 per year.
@athousandyoung saidWell, it's only fair.

Us slaves are tired of having our paychecks defunded.
@earl-of-trumps saidAnd the poor are tired of starving.

@liljo saidWhat do you pay in taxes? 22% or less?

That's not enormous. What if you got paid four times what you're getting paid now, but your taxes went up to 50%? Would you turn that down?
Then it's NOT egregious.
@averagejoe1 saidYour US congressperson gets paid a lot more than that to not do anything (but scroll twitter all day and complain about stuff).

@suzianne saidOnce again, I repeat, we got the fattest poor people in the world, they sure don't look like they are starving. The SNAP program is available to anyone that's poor and they get more than enough $ to eat on. If they are starving they are doing something wrong.
And the poor are tired of starving.
In Oklahoma they had to make an adjustment to the debit cards that the poor were recieving. It turns out that many people were taking the debit cards down to the local casino to fund their gambling habit.
I also remember seeing people using food stamps to buy a small amount of food. With the cash they got back as change, they bought cigs and alcohol.
