It probably would have been over by tonight if Trump hadn't inflamed the situation by illegally bringing in the Guard. Hundreds of protesters Friday and Saturday; thousands on Sunday after they were deployed.

The situation was already inflamed, the Governor and Mayor had lost control. Bringing in the NG was not an illegal act.
