No, you misunderstand. I am very happy about Trump's efforts that have led to the current ceasefire and release of the hostages. The error is to equate this with the end of the conflict. The hard work starts now (to maintain the ceasefire).
Who here would think that it is 'all buttoned up' all done, everyody enjoy peace and prosperity starting at 3 oclock today. Trump winging his way home, all hte leaders return to their countries ?

You seem naive, it has years yet to smooth out. We have shed of the hyena friends of some on this forum, and can begin to rebuild. And to think, we are bing told that Biden paved the way for Trump.

It is Trump himself who is naïve in his rhetoric, claiming the war is over and peace achieved.

A temporary peace isn't good enough. There are major obstacles still to overcome.

Yes, we can only help that his naivet'e will not find him unprepared to change world order for the better.
Naive, the word of the day.

Even your spelling of 'naivety' is naïve.

In other words, the conflict has not ended. So the thread title and premise is misleading. That's what people keep pointing out but you seem to be deliberately misinterpreting.

I have noticed the people who post here have a immature approach, word games and gotchas when there are serious subjects to hash out. It leads no where, it is unfortunate. It may come from them being on a losing side at every turn?
Even their dem leaders have not celebrated this great day. The epitome of a losing side really. What do these people want Trump to do? Can they hate him so much, a man proven of peace, and they game him as a war lover.

I think that you are misleading to say it is a conflict still, when so much has stopped over there, you pick at only the negative. Why not say Kick Ass? You people are weird, you appreciate nothing. You actually say how misleading a thread seems to be, just to stir things up, when the overall point is obvious. Have you ever written a post that was not exactly right? Did everyone get it anyway and not act silly about it? Like you do? The word naivete is a seldom used word, catchy spellling. I cannot even spell reminisce. Can you spell all words? No you cannot. Your posts lend nothing to the forrumm.

" What do these people want Trump to do?"

maybe if he would put on red lipstick and a dress he could win them over

The current ceasefire is a great thing, but to equate that with the end of the conflict is a bit naïve. The job's only half done.
More like 1/4 done. One thing though, I think Hamas is incapable of launching the deadlier rockets now, been too downgraded and Syria and Iran no longer in the picture, now that the living hostages are back, was surprised there were 20 left still alive.
So with a cease fire, Israel cannot go into the tunnels and blow them up.

You just wrote above that we are years away from celebrating.

He's close. Botox, mascara, makeup, and a wig.

It's the opposite. You declare victory prematurely and then wonder why others are holding back. Some think it's prudent to wait until it's been resolved to declare that a** had been kicked.

There is no question, you whinny feller, that Trump ended war between Hamas and Israel. You weenies who don't like blood should be happy. Why aren't you?
