That's a rate of little less than 500 violent crimes per 100,000 population.
According to this Wiki article using Uniform Crime Report stats compiled by the FBI, the rate was 2661.4 per 100,000 population in 1995 or more than 5 times higher. It was still 995.9 or about double in 2018 the last year reported there. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Washington,_D.C.
I'm sure if I wanted to wade through more recent UCRs I'd find similar data, all supporting the claim that 2024 violent crime in DC was at a 30 year low just like the US Attorney said.

The year 2025 is not in your post either. In the 20 years I posted of murders in DC, 2005 to 2024, 14 of those years ...FOURTEEN, had LESS MURDERS than 2024. There are no publicly available data for 2025 because we are sstill in 2025. So the last few years the murders have spiked. I think anyone watching the data can see that.
Try to focus on factual information and conclusions, instead of calling people morons.

Are you saying that all cities that have stats similar to DC should have the NG invading?
