I do NOT like Presidents like Herbert Hoover who made the Great Depression worse by passing tariffs (e.g. Smoot-Hawley) and presided over years of 25% unemployment and economic devastation.

Turns out Kamala is calling Trump's Tariff policy a tax but will not use the word tariff. It is a fair criticism of Trump. I created a thread about it on here once called "Trump's Tariff scam" and made the same criticism myself. It is a scam. Problem is that Biden continued that scam and Kamala could not think of anything she would do differently than Biden.
Now you know why Kamala will not use the word Tariffs. People would find out quickly she and Biden are doing the same thing.

Do you know how I know it is a scam? Because it never changed the trade deficit which means uncle sam is just taxing Americans and not raising tariffs high enough to curb the buying of imports. Honda and Toyota built plants in the US to avoid the tariffs. Plus, Japan ran out of cheap workers while rural America had plenty.
