@sonhouse saidAmazing that Sonhouse is so well-versed in Tariffs. I know econ, taught it up until 2 years ago. Since I do not know Trump's mind on negotiations, using tariffs as a simple tool, which is obvious only to me apparently, I am going to pass on Tariff talk until, after he wins, it evolves in the news to that extent that we can discuss it.
@AverageJoe1
You claim to be a businessman and can't figure this stuff out? This is not rocket science.
The tariff is an up front sales tax WE pay for, not foreign companies.
Is that simple enough for you?
Have at it, my good man. I may be the only person who knows who Grainger is, so you might want to tell people, or pick another comany!!! Do there sell sawzalls!!??
@Metal-Brain saidSo Trump's not the only one lying.
I said he lied. You come back down to earth.
Trump To Slap 100% Tariffs On Countries Dropping The Dollar
https://odysee.com/@KimIversen:d/trump-to-slap-100-tariffs-on-countries:f
Trump does not understand economics. Only countries accepting the dollar can have tariffs imposed on them. If they sell to us they get paid in US dollars. That is picking up the dollar. And you will like this. Trump recently said Kamala does not understand economics. The irony.
What a shocker.
@Suzianne saidI think it is money from revenues collected from taxes. No, I know it is. Do you know that the government has no money, little feller. If they spend (for lack of a better word) money on anything, it came from another source.
No, it won't, moron. You're acting like it's coming out of your wallet. It is coming from your post-spent dollars, not dollars you could yet spend on something else. You have never understood this. That is what makes lies.
If it is not from us, the taxpayers, where does it come from? And if you are sure that it comes from somewhere else, can our government get some of THAT money? Like they did to get money to pay off student loans.
@AverageJoe1
Try this. Definition of Post wartime:

Means AFTER the war.
Post Spending, really hard to understand for you I know, money you have left AFTER spending some portion on something,
I spent 10 bucks on a bobble, I had 20 Bucks at the start so now I have a bobble and ten bucks left over.
REAL difficult stuff I know.
@Suzianne saidOK< we are cool, thanks Sonhouse. Now we all know what post spent dollars are.
No, it won't, moron. You're acting like it's coming out of your wallet. It is coming from your post-spent dollars, not dollars you could yet spend on something else. You have never understood this. That is what makes lies.
Now, suzianne says that it is THOSE dollars, (the left over $10 in Shouse example) that are being used in her post about govt gift of $25 to home purchase.
This is what she wrote:

What she refers to is the the $25k gift from Kamala to apply to a home purchase.,She thus says that it is NOT coming out of my wallet, but rather, it is money that I have left over after I spend other money.
Is this not unbelievable? I could not even make something up like this. It is not my wallet money, but other of my money. Some 'other' money of mine, that I have left at the end of the day of buying groceries. I had $100, I spent $60, I have 40 left over, which is post-spent, that the govt will draw from to pay for the $25K.
Please don't leave me, we need to get this right.
@AverageJoe1 saidI've never heard anything more stupid.

@AverageJoe1 saidSpend money once, you cannot own it after that. You buy a toaster, that money is no longer yours. I thought this was self-evident.
Post Spent Dollars. Does anyone get that>? I dont get that.
@AverageJoe1 saidYou and @Metal-Brain have little to no understanding of the written word.

You both are voting for Trump.
Coincidence?
@sonhouse saidAfter the war. YOu make no sense, but even if i could understand it, it is a fact that the govt has no money, and that the money they use for paying debts of losers and and for the free handouts that you would welcome is ALL coming from tax revenues.

Please explain to Sue that the gov has no money.
@AverageJoe1
an economy pushing 30 TRILLION dollars and the government has no money.
Wow, what kind of GNP would it take for you to feel gov DID have money?
FORTY TRIL? No? FIFTY TRILL? tell me what it would take.
@sonhouse saidI get bleary-eyed trying to wade your comments, they are everywhere. But could you touch on the fact that there are different makers of these products, and that a purchaser can choose from many makers. Some beign subject to tariff, some not.
@Metal-Brain
It is NOT a tariff, it IS a up front sales tax paid by US citizens and has ZERO effect of foreign companies.
Say Sony sells us a widget they sell for 100 bucks. Grainger picks it up and adds a 30% profit, so they sell it for 130 bucks.
Then Trump adds 20% to OUR cost, so now Grainger pays 120 dollars for the widget that the day before cost 100 bucks.
So do y ...[text shortened]... , really just a sales tax up front, instead of income tax and such.
What could POSSIBLY go wrong.
If a Korean sawzall has a tariff attached, screw them, and buy a sawzall from the Sonhouse Sawzall Factory, Inc., which does not have that pesky tariff added to the cost.
Will you respond like an adult to this, or must your stuff continue with laborious misrepresentations?
@AverageJoe1
You will say ANYTHING, DO ANYTHING to support your morally bankrupt Trump.
That tariff will charge ALL US citizens for foreign goods if it s bananas from Mexico or cars from Japan, GET FUUKING REAL, you are in ABSOLUTE denial as to who suffers from these tariffs.
@sonhouse saidYou suggest he would pretty much choke USA citizens. Whittle it down, man. You must really hate Trump to spread such a lie.

So if Korea makes cell phone which we tariff, we can go the Sonhouse Cell company and buy a phone. Too simple for you, or you just evade me.
Enough about tariffs. Get ready for Tuesday!
