Biden is the one who will peacefully transfer power if he loses but your orange anti Christ X45 has already screwed up the peaceful transfer of power thing that is a cornerstone of our democracy. Don't distract this time, answer what I said directly without BS questions like 'define democracy'.

Do you seriously think Trump did a peaceful transfer of power?
Yes. You must be confusing him with people that went to DC a few years ago and protested. They were not so peaceful, they were like Schummer at SCOTUS, or the people who swarmed the homes of the justices.
If T had locked the door to the oval and surrounded himself with bodyguards, that would not be peaceful. Or, are you saying anything that he said and did, from when the results were announced up to inauguration day, was not peaceful?

He tried in 2020 and failed. In 2021 he posted that the Constitution should be put aside to return him to power.

He's going to try again in 2024.
Why, Moonbus, put yourself in the 'Liar' category, Czar Suzianne will be all over you for this post. Here are the facts. Lie!!! Lie!!! No need to post a source, just pretend that this is my explanation.

"What I said was that when there is 'MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION,' as has been irrefutably proven in the 2020 Presidential Election, steps must be immediately taken to RIGHT THE WRONG," Trump added. "Only FOOLS would disagree with that and accept STOLEN ELECTIONS. MAGA!"

Christie's argument does not spell out the context of Trump's claim, and paraphrases the former president's words. Christie said Trump had said it is okay to suspend the Constitution.

Please don't give him any ideas...

I think you are making a big mistake about how mob bosses work - they don't write down orders and make "last stands" because that (no surprise) is how you lose - quickly.

Mob bosses use phrases like "Word should get back to him" and "People should do the right thing" and "I just want to find 11,780 votes."

Plausible deniability. It's the key to the criminal mind.

That's a great question!

I don't know because I'm not on his wave-length, but I think it's because he's extremely lazy and believes his own rhetoric. He actually thought he was going to win re-election. He's not energetic or smart or able or any of those things. He just floats along on the backs of more competent people - WELL insulated from reality by his cote ...[text shortened]... l definitely work harder - not for you and me, but to save himself.

This is what he says, anyway.
If the highest levels of the military had been behind Trump instead of the Constitution, January 6th could have been a successful coup.

Trump is like John the Baptist, unworthy to loosen the shoestrings of the one who will become the shoe-in as the real dictator of the whole world, not just the USA.

Trump is merely a voice in the wilderness, preparing the way for the Lord of Tyranny.

Trump is not dressed in camel hair and a leather belt, as John was, as he wears fancy and expensive suits with very long ties, and is laden with expensive habits and an expensive and luxurious way of life. But truly, Trump is one of those camels that will find it very difficult to go through the eye of a needle. Trump has strong ties with the rich Evangelical preachers and teachers of physical health and wealth.

Trump, in preparing the way for the Lord of Tyranny, will make the Prosperity Gospel the state religion and the law of the land. That's the real truth as to why he's selling Bibles, as it's symbolically the shape of things to come. Dictators need a state/world religion to aid them in the takeover of a nation, and of an entire world.

Materialism is a world 'religion,' and the Prosperity Gospel is something that all materialistic-minded people will, willingly, be willing to buy into.

A date to remember may just be around the corner. If Trump, somehow, gets voted back into the Oval Office this November, either by hook or by crook, then 2029 may just be that date that "will live in infamy." The date that Marks the official death of Democracy and the birth of Tyranny.

I think a big reason Trump's dictatorship-pantomime-charade attempt will fail is his age. Hitler was 43 when he came to power. Trump was 71, now 77. This baloney has to end soon.

The other big reason is that America isn't in the economic crisis Germany was in in 1933 - no comparison. True, rural America is stuck in a pretty miserable place. But it is only Biden who wi ...[text shortened]... stay "broken." Otherwise, he is doomed.

The third reason is, American Liberals also have guns. 🙂
Trump's age, health and lack of organizational skills also prevent me from taking this too seriously.

But more so, I don't think Trump truly wants to do anything more than massage his enormous ego.

No, you are wrong. The American military is massive. Why say something like that, it just stirs up the Sonhouse.

I have always said that assuming Trump wins '24, you fellers will have 4 years to build up your hell and will sweep AOC or someone in to the office in '28. By 2032, it will all be so much hell, like Lord of the Flies, that not even an election to change things back to the USA we once knew will make any difference.
Doom. I'm wrong? Look around, read the papers.

Without responding to all of that, because it seems like total nonsense and experience tells me there is no hope of convincing anyone they are wrong about anything on this forum, I will simply say it is amazing how completely opposite the left and the right see the world. Gee it is as if everyone only listens to media that tells them a set of "facts" to feed a set of biases, and comes to believe a version of reality which is exactly opposite of what the other side believes. One thing is sure: you do not understand why Trump supporters support him, and that one of their biggest fears is that the nation is already succumbing to fascism, which they see coming from the left. It's a damn shame because I think we could all reasonably agree on things that need to happen to help the country if we could just get on the same page about what is actually true.

There you go again, desperate distraction. Define peaceful. What a bunch of crap. I guess you think you are going to win debate brownie points pushing that routine again. What is the definition of democracy, you used that one too, remember.
If you don't know what the peaceful transfer of power is you are WAY more stupid than I ever thought you to be but that is not it, you know EXACTLY what peaceful transfer of power is but you want to insert the chaos of your Trump religion, you worship your orange anti Christ.

I have this discussion with my brother-in-law often - he agrees with you, Trump isn't good enough to pull it off, and so he doesn't take any threat seriously. But is that true of everyone who supports him?

Someone mentioned Trump is only the herald. What happens when a much younger, healthier 'Trump' with an even more refined message and a tighter organization appears?

Do you worry then?

All you have to do to see truth is to watch the bungling BULLSHYTE coming out of the mouth of the orange anti Christ.

Do you seriously equate Trump's corruption, OBVIOUS corruption with Biden?
The ultrarightwingnuts try to picture Biden as the most corrupt POTUS in US history, ignoring the bills he had passed, bills like the infrastructure bill Trump TRIED to pass but failed even though he owned house and senate.

All you have to do is look at the jobs market, near one million new jobs now under Biden or the inflation, 3% now, lowest of all the western countries.
Now the Russians are feeding misinformation, the latest is that photo of Biden hog tied in a pickup, that comes directly from Russia and China is doing the same.

This is adversaries trying to tilt the scale in favor of Trump because they KNOW he is an idiot and has no concept of consequences which is why he is in so much legal trouble right now.

He NEVER faced consequences before, Daddy ALWAYS bailed him out to the tune of a half billion dollars till he died and then he was on his own and could not even keep a fukking CASINO in the black, FOUR separate bankruptcies and yet none of that matters to the followers of the Trump religion.

It IS a religion, WAY past mere cult, religions teach the duped to push back all the harder when their leader is attacked. Like when Trump gives out names and addresses of those he wants to attack, those are not protests, they are instructions to his henchmen and if you doubt that, look at what happened to the Freeman's or Vindman, both he and his brother fired for daring to bring up a phone call telling Zelenskyy to find dirt on Biden or forget that half bil in military aide.
What I don't understand and never will is how can people continue to support an obvious fraud like Trump.
And don't get me wrong, I am not saying Biden is some kind of saint but anything bad on his side compared to Trump? Not even close.

I freely admit I do not understand why anyone would support Trump. My mom does, but she is 93 and we are pretty convinced she was brainwashed by the Epoch Times.

The left is already imposing fascism on the nation... help me out there. I can't picture the example you are thinking of which is 'left-fascism.' Like making people woke? Or solar panels? It's not solar panels. Is it?
