When the state owns most industries, reward(s) is basically flattened. People have less reason to work, esp losers and parasites. They have less reason to innovate, work harder, or take risks. ESP when they see someone who does not work as hard as they do.
All of this results in lower productivity, fewer new ideas, and thus, slow economic growth.
Planning wojld be done by a small group, not by millions of individual decisons batted around by creative people .....Who Want To Get Rich!..and provide goods and services.
A designated group of planners would otherwise know what all these people want, they could NOT set prices correctly, and there wojld be zero efficiency....Why bother??
