Encapsulating American government into quaint analogies never works.

There's a reason analogy starts with anal.
Why will not Suzianne respond to this analogy? Why can we not have interesting debates instead of jabs? What would Suzianne think of this common sense state of affairs??

The point is sonhouse and his idea of majority voting is wrong.

People in different regions don't know anything about the other regions.
NYC and A state that grows crops are two different worlds.

The only thing I will say is wrong is the two party system.
4 would be better in my opinion.
I did write a while back that Wyoming needs barbed wire and NY needs subways. The insipid ideas that the libs have would have would mean that the majority of the people in NY would greatly outnumber the 5M in Wyoming, and would put WY down about their barbed wire. No barbed wire. Ranches go broke. Stampedes, the works!!!

If only current Republicans weren't determined to remake our Republic into a Reprivata, where, instead of the public retaining power, power is held by private concerns, i.e. corporations.
So tell us what 'power' Apple and Delta have., Or don't.

I would hope that we've learned our lesson about electing a con man to the nation's highest office.
By his association with Hunter..(like a whisper.."Hey, son, I think you are in the clear." ...makes Joe a con man.

For better or worse we elect folks who do the actual governing.
I can't imagine a form of government that puts out votes for bills to all its subjects and that majority wins. But when you get despots like Trump all bets are off. The problem with Trump is not so much he is an assshole, a sociopathic liar, which is bad enough but the real problem is the bevy of wannabies who might even be more radical than Trump, HUNDREDS of them. Like DeSantis and dudes like Mastriano, a climate change denier, anti vaxer and all the right wing BS going with it, endorsed by Trump. He is about as stupid as they get.

You see, Sonhouse,, you talk about a 'climate change denier' like the denier is a fool and is totally wrong. He could be right, Sonhouse. So it would negate your posts.
I could just as easily say that Bill Smith thinks that there IS climate change.
So, two totally different opinions to become bored over. Bores, me, that is for sure.

She won't answer.

Liberal Tactics 101
...also known as "The 5 to stay alive"

#1. Deny the Truth.
#2. Fake News! (Ironic because Trump was the leader of exposing Fake News and now Liberals use it whenever they disagree with a source)

#3. Bring up history or some other irrelevant fact.
#4. Misconstrue to your benefit.
#5. Call everyone a Racist.

When someone debates a point that corps have power, can they not explain what the power is so that we may respond? Why type up a post that goes nowhere?
I would like for the Forum to have normal conversation, like if we are all sitting at Starbucks, Suzianne says corps have power, we would say 'how so?' What do you mean?
At least maybe tell us why you do not respond? Why say that, knowing that we cannot respond to it?
