I said it was out of curiosity and then again i said it was because I think none of the libtards here have served except for Sonhouse, to his credit.

In the Air Force, if you'r a pilot or navigator and you're one of a only couple hundred rated officers on an airbase with 5000 personnel that are there to do nothing but support you doing your job, then that is a pretty heady experience, especially in peacetime where you put your life on the line everytime you strap into a jet.
However,I was prior enlisted, Army , and didn't let it go to my head. Not too much, at least....

I don't consider it a big deal or particularly influential on my later life or ideas. I was 19 when I joined the Navy; that was a long time ago - Carter was President. Did my tour and left to work and go to school.

What happened to the time when you maybe really did believe in the rule of law?
