You were one of the few liberal terds I thought might have been in the military. Carter was a hsitty president....weren't you happy when Reagan won 49 out of 50 states?

I think there was a woman in the Army who used to post here but I don't remember her name or anything about her politics.

The middle school mostly Black kids in Inglewood were loud but respectful. Large class sizes and lack of enough paraprofessionals contributed to the noise and classroom management issues. There was no gang activity, drugs, violence or anything like that whatsoever.

Here is a fictional scene in a school in the inner city from the show The Wire.



In that show these kids come from the projects and are involved in the drug trade. The students I had were better behaved than the ones in this show. The white teacher seems unprepared and sloppy but that makes sense because new teachers without experience often have to start in these underfunded schools.

It must just be me, but I don’t have any slecial respect for people who have been in the military.

Of the soldiers and veterans I know, some are dumb arses, and some are cool. Some are even heroic.

But, I know just as many people in different jobs who are just as heroic or moronic.

I’ve never understood this praising of the military.
Then again, I don’t take well to authority or orders.

So, regular military certainly wasn’t on the books for me.
